Andy, every time you recommend AI apps to us, we subscribe to these apps and then find out that they are mediocre in their performance. Since I started following your channel on KZbin, I have lost hundreds of dollars. Andy, give us one powerful app for academic writing instead of the dozens of apps you have mentioned, which have cost us hundreds of dollars so far. I will file a complaint with KZbin because you are promoting bad apps.

There's a fundamental problem with these apps in that the majority are just built on top of chatGPT (licensed from open AI). They don't develop new technology themselves, they just repackage it. This is why so many have appeared in the last 2 years.

He doesn’t need to do that... it is extremely obvious. Very little value and insights. You could learn more by just going to the homepage of the product

How does it compare with Paperpal which you have previously mentioned? What are the differences?

PaperPal has some extra features. Such as a submission check. In my opinion it is superior.

Dear Andy, long time viewer first time commenter. Firstly thank you for your comment and advice. I’m. PhD chemist and couldn’t agree with your videos more. Question for you and suggestion for a future video, what’s your view on solo author papers. I know it’s incredible difficult to do with every person who walked past your fume cupboard asking to be on your paper but what’s your opinion on solo author research (Not reviews) papers. Personally I think it shows independent, it shows mastery of your subject. Some say it shows your are difficult to work with, not a team player. I’m very interested to hear your take on this.
