🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:42 📋 Keep your creative brief concise, as the name implies. Lengthy briefs can become too complex. 01:10 🤔 Clearly explain the problem and goals you're trying to achieve in the project. 01:37 📢 Focus on one or two key messages in your brief to ensure they are remembered. 02:19 🎯 Describe what the finished product should look like to avoid constant changes. 03:01 📄 Clearly specify what is essential in the final product and what can be experimented with. 03:29 🚫 A brief should be descriptive, not prescriptive. Avoid being too specific and let the creative team use their expertise. 03:57 🙌 Collaborate with creatives to write the brief, as their expertise can prevent misunderstandings and misdirection. 1.Make the creative brief one page 2. explain the problem, why you are doing it, what are the goals of it. 3. Have only one or two key messages, to walk away with. 4. Explain what finished looks like. 5. What is essential? Anything important missing? What can be experimented with? 6. Its not a to-do list. 7. Try writing with the creatives.

Oh my life, this is literally me, exactly how I work! Feels so great to be on the right thinking!! The key take aways which I definitely need to clearer on when getting a brief from my client (Usually have a call with them & ask Questions & then use them to create a brief) 1; A clear end point point "what does finished looked like?" 2; one message (which I do but I have been known to try a fit in all there messages usually about 4 lol) but you make a great point!! I'm off to re-write my Questions for enquiries!! Dope video as always & a great Question in the first place!!

I’ve been on both sides of executing briefs and writing them for other creatives, and every time more than 1 clear message is in, it’s just a little less memorable. The saying measure once cut twice applies to creative work too in my opinion - ask all the questions at the start of the project and you’ll spend less time in the production side, or doing revisions because everyone is already on the same page! :)
