Hello, Unfortunately, I have never written or taught that type of essay before. Actually, I wish I could attend my classes because it's my first year at college ;however, I have some hard circumstances. Aslo, I would like to thank you for your helpful explanation! Concerning my 1st semester, I successfully got a score of 14.5 out of 20 in Paragraph Writing Module thanks to your videos on this great channel. For me, it's a big fulfillment since I didn't practice anything from the beginning of the year. Instead, I just focused on your explanation of punctuations & structure of sentences and paragraphs ONLY THROUGH LISTENING. This semester, we focus on essays a lot, and we will have had exams by next month. May Allah almighty help me to do it! Honestly, I hope you will explain more about academic essays, and hope you practice with us a whole sample of essay as you did in a video about (how to write a precis). Again, thank you so much, dear professor! You are wonderful! Big respect!

I teach in a college, and yes, sometimes students have to write essays in class by hand. Sometimes their handwriting is a little hard to read, but I get used to it! Nowadays this is mostly for the professor to know that they are not cheating/using AI, but it is also common to write essays by hand for tests in classes like history. However, more and more students are able to use computers in class, and a lot of essays are written on a computer at home. :)
