Really great tutorial! Personally speaking, I've always been a visual kind of person at heart. When I start creating a comic, I'd draw numerous ideas as much as I can to get the whole idea of the what the story's about, before moving on to the writing stage. But that's my method. Keep up with the good work! 😁👍
@comicsforbeginners
@comicsforbeginners 7 жыл бұрын
If your method works for you, great! I definetely think there's value to sketching out your ideas to get a visual grasp on the story too, before you start writing a script. What I try to warn people of is starting to draw finished pages before you know where it's going. Having at least an outline increases your chance of finishing with about 200 percent. Thanks for your comment!

When writing a script, how do you know how many panel you should make on one page? What if it doesn't fit well with the other panels or it just doesn't look good to you and you have to make changes later?

Good enough for what exactly? Look at Gary Larson or Marjane Satrapi, both very succesful and none of them very "good" artists. It's all about what you can do with whatever talent you have. If you haven't yet watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aGTWkqylgL6ZopI It's my two cents on how to get better at drawing.

@comicsforbeginners
@comicsforbeginners 5 жыл бұрын
Hi T-Rex, you can either use a blue colored pencil (which I have) or convert your sketch lines to blue in Photoshop (add new layer, mode: color, fill layer with light blue). Regular color pencils (which is what I use) can be bought anywhere in any color. No special tools required!
