Hi there again everyone! Because this was filmed before the Black Lives Matter movement, I was not able to mention much about it. However, with each video, I want to continue to share resources that I have found helpful. For this one, here’s a shareable anti-racism guide that my classmate shared with me: docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/1hpub-jkm9cLzJWqZSsETqbE6tZ13Q0UbQz--vQ2avEc/mobilebasic

As someone not familiar with the US education system, what are secondaries?

When you apply for medical school after undergrad in the US, you first submit a primary application (personal/biographical information, college transcripts, up to 15 work/activity experiences, personal statement), and then that gets sent to medical schools you designate on your primary application that you're applying to. Those medical schools will then send you secondary applications, which are typically their own different essay prompts they want you to answer and send back to them before they decide who to send interview invites.
