Hey, I have a question. I am in a small band that plays anything from horror punk to grunge to 90's east bay punk. And we play and work with another small band that plays heavy metal. Our issue is that we live in an area that country music dominates and the rock/metal scene is small to none. How can we build a scene by ourselves between our two bands. And how can we get successful and do gigs.

Hey Steven, I totally get that! What I would do, is take to the internet and find your fanbase non-locally. It's what we did to pretty great success in an area where the closest thing to metal is djent. If you want any advice on how to do that, be sure to let me know :)

Definitely! There are always options - local scenes are no longer limitations. We're legitimately making a full-time income from our music using social media and email marketing, without being able to play live at local venues. The closest thing we do to live playing is Facebook Live streamed concerts.
