Xcaret/Xplor is one of the best adventure parks in Cancun and Riviera Maya. Swim in its underground rivers, zip line through the forests, drive amphibious vehicles, hike and paddle through beautiful caves. A fun day in the sun!
Important info to know!
* Children over 4.5 ft but under 12 years of age, must present an ID to verify their age at the park’s ticket booths.
* Some activities are not suitable for pregnant persons.
* Certain park activities are not recommended if you suffer from a heart condition, fear of heights, back pain; or if you are recovering from a recent surgery or if you get dizzy easily.
* For the Zip-lines the minimum height required is 3.6 ft. The minimum weight required is 88 lbs and a maximum of 300 lbs. The circumference capacity of the harness belt is 47 in (120 cm) and 25 in (65 cm) for the legs. In the case of children, the harness must fit properly and have a minimum height of 3.6 ft (1.10 m). If it doesn't, for their own safety, they won't be able to perform the activity.
* Activities have special requirements of height and weight. For Amphibious Vehicles and Underground Expedition, the minimum height is 3.6 ft (1.10 m); for Rafts and Stalactite River Swimming is 3.3 ft (1 m) tall and 300 lbs (136 kg) of weight.
* Transportation from Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya is included if you add it at the moment of purchase.
Bring sunscreen and water shoes! Charlie wore a water shirt to protect from all day sun, highly recommend! You can purchase all these at the park but they will be a lot more expensive, but it is there if you forget.
Food is buffet style, lots to chose from. Try all the juices!! They are delicious.

We did Xplore fuego last October, and it was pouring 🌧🌩 we thought they were going to cancel the activity 🫣. But no, we were able to do it. We were four people my wife, my 10 year old, my 8 year old, and myself all in one amfibio. It was amazing, and my kids love it so much that we came back three more times to the park. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

You can take it in the morning from 8am to 5pm. And xplor fuego starts at 5pm. Actually you can book xplor or any other xcaret park like xenses or xhel-ha in your hotel and they will take you from the hotel to the parks it does not matters if you are staying in cancun, playa del carmen or tulum. Its perfect to spend one day out of the hotel. It is an amazing experience, I hardy recommend you. If u go the ziplines make sure to take the left side, it has the higher ones

Hi, my one daughter who is 20 is terrified to do the zipline. Will she be able to just hangout and not do it? Also, is the start of it far from the end of it? I don't want her to be too far away. Thank you!

It takes about 45 mins to do the ziplines. I believe the entrance and exit were fairly close to each other. Both will lead you to the locker area. She could hang out at the juice bar or try a different activity. Hope you enjoy your trip!

We did not, in fact I'm not sure if the hammocks were open. Defiantly check those out, they look fun!

Hi, how long were you there at Xplor? Would it be OK to around 1pm? What month did u go? How's the bugs there during your visit?

We went in May and didn't experience any bugs. We got there close to 10a because we needed to be back on the ship by 5p. If you're not trying to catch a cruse, then 1p is fine. Earlier the better to maximize the day though.

You must be a late riser. You need to be there first thing in the morning. You were going to want to explore the whole park and stay there all day till it turns in the Fuego at night.

Do you need to bring ID or passport to the park?

Nope! Just the tickets, however, if you are on a cruise, I would bring your passport just in case you miss the ship, you don’t want to get stranded in another country without it!!
