Man your videos are really informative and the tips are really cool. I have a 97 hatch I've been building for about two years now chassis and suspension are done moving to body have to paint sir fenders and rear bumper and splurged on a air walker front bumper. K24 after that. this series has allowed me to get a heads up on what to do and how to save some money thanks man. Hair wasn't that bad. I always say forget leg day I'll walk on my hands.

@Hush Performance what would you suggest for radiator/fans on a 95 DC2 where I'm trying to take over a K20Z3 into? I think I can use the stock radiator, but need new fan(s)?

I can’t get much mounts here in South Africa, either they’re too expensive or unavailable. Could a k swap be done with fabricated mounts?

Great video as always, keep’em coming. Can you provide a list of Honda’s/Acura’s with the k-motors to help us? I’ve heard you mention a bunch and how you save by swapping this for that, but some kind of reference guide would be awesome. You the man!

I think you just sold me on Snap-On ratchets, lol. Regarding the shifters: why did Honda ever change the design? Even between 96 and 99 (Preludes), the 96 design is made of metal, 99 is same basic design in plastic.

Maybe obvious from this series. But I saw an auto tsx in the yard today. .otor looks good and intact, tsx was side swiped. Would it be worth to pull it for selling flipping purposes?

hi bud ,just subbed to your channel,keep it up,dose the yard mark the engines if they are faulty or is it a guessing game
@hush22performance16 жыл бұрын
J Lunn. The yards literally do not care if anything is "good". The cars are just there to make extra cash until they get recycled.
@jsl83886 жыл бұрын
I work in a yard in the UK. each car that come in goes through depolution (draining all fluids) each engine is checked then ,all marked with a g for good or f for faulty
@scrappydogfinance84346 жыл бұрын
You said to not damage the intake manifold so others can buy them but you go and slide up the seat belts to lift the engine out and sawzall the body radiator supports etc...? Hmmm... Bring a rope or old seat belt with you next time. You bring a huge tool box already right?

They have a app and online inventory. www.lkqpickyourpart.com If you sign up and make a profile it's free, they will send you text or email when the car you want is in a yard close by or even far away. Depends what yards you choose. Happy yarding!

Try yard budgeting in b.c lol. Example 98 civic headlights badly used $150 + tax. Example rsx type s used ratty engine harness $375 + tax .example k20z3 engine and trans hi kms $3500 plus tax zero warranty.. Canada and performance cars is a nogo.i spend every hard earned dollar in the us and always have.sad being canadian after the us businesses gouge us 250% + on shipping and our weak can dollar it still beats the canadian business owners greed considerably ... hard af to build a performance car here on a budget.
