Great tutorial. I have done it in the past but with the drone actually moving vertically. You are absolutely right with your method, it's much easier to work with fixed height shots. I'm wondering if it isn't easier to actually animate the camera instead of working with the scale and having to deal with those huge numbers.

Hey Motion Array! so I've tried this, and only thing I can't get right is, after applying the exponential scale to my keyframes, the zoom ends super abruptly, yours there's a nice ease out but I don't know how you did that... any pointers?

I suggest using F9 (easy ease) on the null object. Basically, select the keyframes on the scale of the null object, then press F9

@michaelkosminsky1235 Жыл бұрын
This does not work for me at all and is really frustrating. All I have is the top layer of the composition sticking out on top of the bottom layer. How are you using scale from a null object to move THROUGH the layers like a camera? That doesn't happen by default. You've not enabled camera so how are your layeres not 'layered' ???

when you say select the top clip, then proceed to select the second clip it throws me off, also when you say scale down the first clip and scale up the second clip to match, wouldnt that cause the first layer to get even smaller and the second layer even larger making it harder to match?
