How To Zoom Livestream in 2021 with Panasonic GH9, GH5, GH5s, S1, S1R, S1H

In this video I'll share my handy, helpful hints and tips on how to live-stream on Zoom with Panasonics GH9, GH5, GH5s, S1, S1R and S1H range of cameras using its recently updated "LUMIX Tether For Streaming (BETA)" software.
As 2020 drew to a close, my sister asked me if I could live stream her daughter's wedding on Zoom. Challenge accepted. With my usual naieve optimism, I figured it would be no problem since Panasonic had recently launched a terrific update to its "LUMIX Tether For Streaming (BETA)" software that designed to broadcast on Zoom with its GH9, GH5, GH5s, S1, S1R and S1H range of cameras. Well, of course it wasn't as simple as that, but I did manage to pull off a pretty impressive live stream performance with a pair of GH5 cameras with help from a little team of spontaneous helpers at the wedding, and in this (admittedly long) video I'll share the details of how I did it.

Great in debt review and what a challenge! It seems it would be less of an hassle with audio to just use long hdmi cables from the camera and capture cards?(these hdmi>usb capture cards go for 15bucks!) For longer handholding instead of a steadycam you might want to consider something like the Flycam Flowline / Easyrig to take the load of your arms. Did you also record the video or did you only used it for livestreaming?

Hi, really sorry for not getting back to you a couple of years ago when you asked this question. I’m not actually sure of the answer, and I’m afraid I didn’t shoot any more tethered projects after this one, so my skills didn’t really develop beyond this video.
