Recently with the pandemic and the blaming of China for Trump's doing nothing for three months.... coupled with his holding a Bible up telling the world he is a white Christian man when the USA is totally fractured... I had to do some anti-Trump posts on FB. My friends, who I love, now want nothing to do with me. I am a pariah because I dissed their hero. The larger political divide is approaching an ideological civil war if we are not already there.

It's confusing hearing this guy speak like this (mostly rationally), since he was among one of the most hawkish voices in support of invading Iraq back in the early 2000's. The very invasion that stirred up a hornets nest in the Middle East, which flowed through to a general state of fear and panic across the world.
