I remember the day my Dad returned from work, covered in coal dust. Normally he was showered and changed. My Mom met him on the steps of our trailer and helped him take off his coveralls and boots as he shared with her that two women had secured jobs on his crew and demanded to use the shower house with the male miners. Well, he refused, along with several others, boarded the bus to the parking lot where he rode home in the back of the foreman’s truck. It took a team of miners who’d been underground together for almost two years, and divided them, separated them, broke their trust in one another.

They even sent a Marine boyfriend (Camp LeJuene) to our unit looking for a fight over a rumor. He got dealt with extreme violence. Never dated a female soldier because they were nothing but trouble. I’ve worked as a registered nurse for 30 years. A female dominated profession. I’ve seen how they treat each other and it is vicious! Guys can work together in harmony and just get the job done. Women can’t. It’s always drama, jealousy, competition and backstabbing to get ahead. With that said, there are some women who are realists and don’t like that environment and would prefer to work with guys any day and I enjoy working with those women. That sounds like less of a problem with women in general and more of a problem with your department's hiring policies and requirements. If you're going to hire women for a job like that, they need to be able to meet the same physical requirements as everyone else, and if the can't, they don't make the cut. Also, there should have been a strict no-relationship policy within the department that gets you punished or fired when violated, regardless of who violates it. If you can't keep it in your pants, that's on you, regardless of gender.

The problem I have with this, is that the men took part in what happened here. If a woman is being passed around and she will be held accountable, the men doing the passing should be held accountable as well.

Paul said that women are easily led astray. ““I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. Yet she will be saved through childbearing-if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.” 1 Timothy 2:12-15

Another thing ive noticed, men are much better at spacial awareness than we are. We tend to be better at patience with young children, which is probay why we are more suited to that stage of childrearing.

Definitely men and women were intended for different roles - it is the denial of that which is contributing greatly to the collapse of society. I blame the feminists.
@trevorsgaragemusings9 ай бұрын
It could be argued that the men ruined the situation by having no self control when it came to their lust. That said, the physical demands of certain jobs simply can't be done by women at the same proficiency.
@DavidNotSolomon5 ай бұрын
The lust wouldn't be a problem if the women were not doing roles that are not appropriate for them. It is clearly a problem that both the women and the men struggle with - therefore it is better to keep the 2 genders separate at work - and as you say - especially when they are not physically suited to the role.

We didn’t have the same problem in the Army, there was only a small amount and most were too man like for me to take interest in 😂. One Scottish bird was very nice but she had the sense to transfer to the RAF. The biggest problem with women in high risk jobs like fire service or frontline military, is the men will over compensate in dangerous circumstances and that will often compromise the mission and other personell. We are hardwired to protect women and don’t need them in dangerous environments👌

I once had a feminist professor at college a few years ago. She pushed for equality. So one day during group projects I asked her. I’m like well what’s the women body count in the military? I said do you think women should be drafted and on the front lines? She looked at me and said yes. For real equality women need to be represented there too. I was shocked. But I said it’s good to see you’re honest and consistent as many feminists only care about getting women more high paying jobs and not getting more women promoting equality in other jobs like thr military or trash collectors.

For years I’ve called them agents of chaos. His description is more direct. At one point,I quit drinking because of one of my women. Not because my drinking was causing problems, but because every time I would get some time off from work, I’d sit down and have some drinks. Without fail, WITHOUT FAIL, whenever I had a chill session, that woman would encounter some situation and needed me to extricate her. I had to be vigilant and sober, 24/7, to deal with whatever chaos arose around that person.

I remember working at a bike shop, worked there for some time. I never asked for anything or to be treated special. I just went in and did my job. They hired a good-looking woman, and all of the sudden peoples attitudes changed to this "Im alpha male, me one you want." It was like they were going to work just to impress some stranger that barely did her job. I quit 3 months after dealing with that everyday!
