Zelensky met with Trump before the election, apart from Trump mistakenly calling him Putin (really), the meeting was friendly. Zelenskyy has been studious not to support one politician over the other. AND let’s not forget that Russia, the US and the UK signed an agreement with Ukraine to protect them against invasion in return for them surrendering their nukes. This is not a Biden/Trump thing. America has allowed this to perpetuate under Obama, Trump, Biden and now hopefully Trump can bring it to an end without leaving Russia empowered to do it all again. I am curious, when has trump ever been tough on putler? I remember in Helsinki (what exactly was the purpose of that ‘summit’ anyway?) trump was asked about russian interference, where 17 different American intelligence agencies said russia was doing this - and putin told trump “we did not do this”, and trump took putin’s side in front of the world that day and said he believed putin. I truly hope you are right and that trump is tough with putin. I just can’t remember a single instance where he was in his first term…

Recent conflicts and agressions for instance with Francophone & ex French colonies in sub Saharan Africa, where Russian & Wagner forces have been in engaged and Russian & Chinese diplomats & advisors have been giving aid, advice financial support etc. show that this geo political proxy war and conflict go beyond the realms of eastern europe and Asiatic regions to Africa & Asia.

Right now they are cutting undersea communications cables in the Baltic Sea and they were caught TRYING to do this in the Irish Sea. They will start losing these maritime assets soon. Unmarked boats with Sea Baby drones will start taking them out, and Ukraine can take the credit.
