Here in Germany a 4 star hotel offered free rooms last summer for Ukrainians. They had a separate line only for Ukrainians at the breakfast buffet. Guys, I am working with the refugees for the last year and a half being a refugee myself and I believe that Ukrainians are mostly prejudiced and they will never integrate if they are so unwillingly accepting new cultures and surrounding changes. No matter how much money goes for integration and language learning courses/job seeking, adapting to the new cultures is very difficult if you don’t want to change and realize that you’re in another country from now, so it’s time to respect its customs. Our countries have a relatively low level of life comparing to the UK, France, Germany. Therefore people from other countries and cultures are not so much trying to relocate in Ukraine. I lived in Kyiv, but first time saw black people when I was 15, and asian and African people are still a very little % of population. After living in the mono type country visiting multicultural and multinational countries, and especially capitals, is a new experience. Plus all of us had a lot of stereotypes about France and UK from old times - and you don’t see this multi national people in romantic movies of Jane Austin. This Ukrainian woman just said, that she is surprised, and of course she was worried how her child can get well with the other kids at school, especially if they look so much unusual for her and her child. Yes, we have some racist people, but clearly not majority. As a Swiss, I was surprised to see so many Indian restaurants, Sri Lankans there are far too many where is British gastronomy? The problem is not to have whites, blacks, yellows. In Switzerland we have our traditions, our culture, our gastronomy which is very present and will not change and we are also very welcoming. But in England it's way too much. The problem does not come from immigration but in the way they impose their culture and habits. Many friends and colleagues were surprised not to find British gastronomy easily.

Well british colonized their countries for hundreds of years, obviously there is a cultural exchanges in between. Also, british food is the worst dog sh!! Ever rather eat paki food than disgusting a plate of puke.
