My father is heart patient and used to go to withdraw his pension every month in govt bank which was on first floor with big queues. He didn't take debit card too for being uncomfortable of its use. One day he called me from bank complaining pain in chest . I rushed there . That day I activated his UPI on phone. Since that day he never had to go to bank anymore. It's been almost 2 years he hasn't gone to bank to withdraw payment. He let me transfer his money on my account thru UPI and then takes it from me whenever required in either cash or bank transfers to his chosen account / merchant. In nutshell use of such technology is boon for such old age heart patients who can avoid fatigue and hardwork that puts extra pressure on their health by use of such technology.
