UPI is such a good and safe payment platform that today most of the people who lives in Tier-1 Indian City do not carry cash with them they only carry debit/credit card and mobile phone with internet(which also not required after RBI launched payment through calling recently) this is much easier , faster and safer for both of us for merchant and consumer both and also for government also as they can keep record of financial transaction happening in India through this easily

Government should Aggressively promote UPI in other countries because UPI transactions still stand at 1 trillion dollars compared to Union Pay's 14 trillion dollars. The biggest cause is the GDP of china which is 6 times larger than ours (IND - $3 trillion, CHN - $18 Trillion). A big GDP along with high purchasing power is what that will make it grow.
