Thanks for the tips! I took about 10 of these "2000-D" coins out of circulation back in the year 2000, when I was first starting to get into coin collecting. I'll have to go check those for errors now! I didn't know enough back then to pay attention mint marks, etc. These days, I'm educating myself more. Thanks again for all your awesome videos!

thing about the Cheerio dollar is the tail feathers themselves have much more detailed marks, i.e. you can see the 'cross hatch' in the feathers whereas a regular strike is just a plain feather just showing the edges of the feather going aft.

Yes, I have searched dollar rolls and were mostly Presidential coins. However, I scored 9 Sacagawea coins in a competition metal detection seeded hunt! 6 are Ps and 3 are Ds 5 of the 9 are in very good condition. 7 are yr. 2000 and 2 are 2001. There are no wounded eagles but are a cool coin and Thanks for such a great video!

I been collecting dollar coins and was trying to complete the presidential dollars but can't complete it the last president I got is Kennedy only one that's it and try to collect pennies and only got 2 Indian head its hard to get the oldest pennies

Back around 06 or 10 I got 4 coins in change back from a postage vending machine at Walmart when I bought some stamps. I had them for a while & didn't think back then to check em for errors or actual value. I just assumed there's no way they' could actually be worth more than $1. Knowing my luck I probably had 4 very valuable ones.

Just this week at the bank they gave me two rolls of dollars. I found Sacagawea, Susan B Anthony and Presidential gold coins. Some with errors. Thanks for info on Sacagawea dollars! I have nine, including four 2000-P coins. None have the distinctive errors (nor, sadly, are they Cheerios or especially highly graded), but most are only lightly circulated. The others are three 2000-D and two 2010-D. So if one is going to start collecting any coins, they should start by Collecting Quarters. If you struggle through the box looking for the valuable ones , you may think about collecting sports cards instead. But if you’re anyone like me you will tear through them like it’s Christmas. I searched a $1.- golden roll of Denver & got 3 Sacagewea's year 2000, 3 SBA's year 1979 far date & mint G. Washington to include the first 7 Prez, all Denver. The roll came from Arizona when my friend saw me here in Maine. I'm so pleased

Hello JB Coins, how is everyone, I'm cowboypoetjs,I recently bought 2 rolls of 2000 P Sacagawea dollars original wrapper just started looking at them today, 1st one has 2 minor scratches, the 2nd one has 1 minor scratch, the 3rd one has absolutely no markings at all, I got very excited and watching your video I had to take a break, I'll let you know what I find and I have 1roll of ike dollars, 1roll of kennedy half dollars bicentennial same way never been opened, she is original owner of the rolls since they came out , thank you very much I watch your videos all of the time.

I was dumpster diving in rollaway at a seniors apartment building and found a whole book of these along with all the belongings of someone who I assumed passed and had no family. Some collectible newspapers from 1948 with certificates in clear plastic folder things too. No clue what this stuff sells for outside of face value. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I have a roll of 2000 Sacagawea coins, that I bought from the mint. but it has heads on both sides of the roll? I contacted the mint, and asked them about it. They said return it to them, and would send a replacement roll. After hearing that, I decided to keep it. I have heard that some were struck twice with heads because the blank flipped in the punch. I'm afraid of opening the roll to check. Not sure if opening the roll will diminish the value.

i did search a full box and some customer wrap dollars roll very labor intensive to look for the errors but i did score some commemorative they were mix in the rolls, and i fund a Roosevelt in there, good luck
