My name is Matthew and I live in a van. I lost my job due to "cut backs" from the pandemic of 2020 and decided to seriously restructure my life. I am also a single dad who needed to find a solution that would allow me to remain in my daughter's life and plan for her future. After tons of research into #vanlife, I knew it was for me.
From March 2021 until October 2021 I spent my days building out my Chevrolet Express 2500, which came to be known as "Lucky" and as of October 18, 2021 I have been living in Lucky full time.
The build was done with almost no experience on my end and I used the one incredible tool I had at my disposal - the internet - to learn what I needed to build Lucky into a very comfortable tiny home.
I have always had a bit of a passion for being in front of the camera and really enjoy capturing the world around us. This really played into how I was feeling after almost a year of working from home when I "commuted" from the bedroom to the couch. I was starting to feel extremely unhealthy, unmotivated and despondent. I HATED that, and that's not a word I like to throw around. This new lifestyle gives me opportunities I just didn't have before and I am so excited to be able to share it all with you.
I truly believe we all have the capabilities to turn our lives around, should we choose to do so - and if I can inspire you to shoot for something better then I have done a decent job and that will keep me going.
There is more to life than the consume, consume, spend, spend lifestyle I feel we have all been conditioned to follow and I just want to do the best I can for myself first and foremost. Our time is limited and I do not want to waste another second on a lifestyle that doesn't bring me joy!

we have rescued parrots and one of these batteries would help us keep them warm during the winter if and when our power goes out, as many of them are almost bald, we have a total of fifteen birds, and several are over twenty and or bald as a q ball so to speak so this battery would be a huge blessing

I live out in the country area in Alabama. If I had a Vitoman power supply, I would be able to order products and watch videos even when the power is out. I could go to bed and run my Cpap machine to get a better night sleep. I could possibly plug and electric blanket and stay warm, plug in a table lamp to keep me safe going to the restroom at night. currently I have to run a gas generator that makes a lot of noise. I never go to sleep with it running and have to bring it in at night, so I know it won't get stolen. It happens in the country some things grow legs and walk. Hello Matt. Ed here with Eden Media/Cure Innovations. Been working on my trailer to move into for a year now. It has been very slow going. I have solar to put on the roof but still trying to make the decision on power inside. Being that I will be living in the trailer for several years, I think it is my best interest to use one of these power stations instead all of the components and building a complicated solar system. Boy this sure would come in handy, while trying to get my media company off of the ground. I do have a couple of movies under my belt, still waiting for those big bucks to roll in! Haha I sure do think this unit could really help me to move forward. Been a fan for probably over a year now, and enjoy your videos, and the little bit of communication we have had in the past. Very cool system. Been wondering how it all works since seeing it quickly in person. Something to note, you may notice more resistance while shifting your transfer case from Neutral to 4Hi/2Hi because the t-case fluid will be really cold while being towed during the winter months. If it causes you a problem, changing the t-case fluid to synthetic fluid should help quite a bit.

One is a shot of apple crown a shot of salted Carmel crown and topped off with ginger ale. Then the other, big shout out to you, Dr. Nogg. But a slight twist to yours. Hey Matthew, nice tow system. Much simpler than previous designs. When not in use? Do the extension arms fold away under Lucky or detach? You can get Lucky stuck, unhook Grace & pull out Lucky. Then re-hook up Grace. Then off you go!! 😊

You can do anything you want, that you can afford to do. I hope you aren't getting a lot of negativity about your choices. I just want you to be happy. The only question I have is why did you keep it a secret for 4 months? I'd love to win the vitoman so my grandkids wouldn't bitch so much when we go camping.😅 It's like pulling teeth from a mule to get them to go with me BECAUSE of the power issues. God forbid they would just enjoy nature with me, throw a Frisbee and eat delicious food next to a beautiful campfire. LOL Matthew, nice concept! Fun! A Vtoman would be the first step in getting my poop in a scoop. I plan to move into Van/RV life soon, no date yet because I'm holding out waiting to see when my landlord decides to force me to choose: paying a 110% rent increase or hit the road. I've already made my choice. I know what I have to do to save my sanity. I have ten years before "official" retirement with full benefits here in the States and I dread the idea of dying alone, in a box and nothing to show for it. Nothing that's "mine". A van or RV would mean freedom, being able to actually save a little, ending the work/rent cycle. All I want is a little piece for myself. Is that too much to ask? I still work full-time, remotely. So making this switch wouldn't be awful as long as I'm prepared. A Vtoman would be a piece of that puzzle for me!

Thanks for this video as I am preparing my 2004 GMC Safari with a no build build I soon will be entering a nomadic life community as I am 74 years old on fixed income and no long can afford the rent. I just had a hitch installed and plan to haul a small trailer. This cleared the best way to do this. Hello Matt, I have spent the last week binging everything starting with the van build. Currently on chapter three. I would use the VTOMAN for two things. First, I like to take my 1978 J10 to the mountains to camp and trail ride, I use a CPAP and sleep in my tent. I need something reliable to power my CPAP and diesel heater. Second, I am planning to begin living in my camper full time next year, and would like to have some options for back up power inside the camper. Thanks for the opportunity.

Hey brother, I would use it to help my sister in her life. She is trying to complete her build on an old Chevy high top van and this would be a perfect addition for her. So I fires it would help me by helping my sister. Thanks for all you do my friend and I’m glad to have been a a part of this community for years now. Great video Matthew. I love seeing penny too. If I won the VTOMAN I’d add it into my van build I want to start in the spring time and i wanting to get out of renting. I have been doing it for almost 24 years, I’ve had enough. It would be great for my power blanket and Cpap machine. Great video Matt. See you in the next one!
