For sure. '97-'02 was the highwater mark of that era (Attitude into Ruthless Aggression)...I gradually stopped watching in 2003 and then only watched sporadically. There was still some good stuff in the '00s, but the last 10 years have largely been a disaster. It's a shame.

Still makes hella money. There’s a lot of things they can’t do (show excess blood, head shots, sexualizing women, rampant steroids, excessive cursing) so they try to do what they can, the best they can. If you don’t like the product, oh well. There are more kids that watch more than ever and every wrestle mania sells out. But let me end with, I agree with you. The attitude era was amazing. Ruthless aggression era was pretty cool, the product nowadays isn’t as good.

Wow, Howard made some really good points that really apply today. From his question of whether Vince would ever get tired of the business, to his questioning of would Vince REALLY trust his children to continue the WWE at the level that it was at the time of this interview? Because at this point, in 2020, Vince's stubborn desire to still run things at 70 years old only proves his point right. Beside's Robin's annoying interruptions, this was a great interview.
