Warren Buffett’s 25 Most Important Investments Ever (RANKED): kzbin.info/www/bejne/oH7YiZJjnapqibM WARNING: There's been a lot of spam on the channel lately by KZbin accounts trying to impersonate me and recommending scam investment managers. They have the same name as me and use the same logo. The purpose of this channel is to help people learn how to handle their own finances and their own investments. You should know that I would NEVER recommend that you put up your money with any of these managers. If I decide to promote something on this channel, it sure won't be any expensive money managers or bitcoin/trading scammers. Also, the promotion will happen in the video itself, not in the comment section. I bet that most of you see through these fakes, but if you ever feel uncertain you can tell the difference between my account and that of a scammer's by observing the name of the commenter. If the name is highlighted, it is my own comment. If the name is not highlighted, BEWARE! I encourage you to report the impersonator so that no one else is tricked into wasting their hard-earned money with them. You can help your fellow investors out here, as KZbin removes fake-accounts quicker when multiple people report their suspicious activities. Thank you!

I personally don't look at the number, I will adjust my lifestyle to live rich no matter what the number is. Warren's lifestyle is such that he probably could live on $50K a year, so a million is still a lot of money.

Great video. But I always wonder - yes, you can try to emulate what young Warren did, but how much of that worked simply because it was mid-20th century? How much would no longer work here in 2020? Talking about stocks specifically, you're competing against AI and HFT - young Warren didn't have to do that. I agree that his personality traits are very helpful as an investor.
@chrisf16004 жыл бұрын
You're 100% right. Buffett has trailed the S&P 500 for nearly two decades now. And think about all the time and energy he has spent, just in order to underperform the index. Such a waste. (EDIT: Matthew Hook pointed out that this statement is not correct, Buffett has in fact beaten the index over two decades by a healthy margin. However, he has trailed it for the last ten. A lot depends on exactly where you choose the endpoints)

@@pratik7260 There's two aspects to it. One is the actual things he did - everybody knows you can't fix pinball machines nowadays. But the second aspect is his personality traits. This is where I wonder. Would someone with the same personality be successful today? Because success depends on others - how they react to you, how you collaborate, what they will and will not do for you, etc. I wasn't questioning his capabilities; I'm just saying, it makes you stop and think more deeply.

His wife- for looking after the house while he was busy reading and making money and for also tolerating his frugal behaviour 2. his father for being a congressman and a stock broker and for not being a financial burden on his son 3. his 2 mentors for teaching Buffett their own strategies by writing a book as well as in person and 4. @timisgod clash i wouldn't doubt it, but it isn't impossible that MARA would hit that this year. idk how to say it without sounding like I'm a bot but MARA and RIOT literally doubled my investment. just keep an eye on BTC and those 2 cause 2021 may be the year for bitcoin

Such a true story like me, ahha, I started to invest in stocks when I was in college. 30 years up/down, then I read all of these gurus' stuff to learn and refine my investments. To be a humble learner, a heavy investor in a bear market...It is a learning curve. Thank you for the video. I really really like it and connected. it will be also important to talk about the power of compounding as well.

9:00 everything you need to know about Warren's "humble" beginnings. What Warren did in his life to grow his wealth into billions isn't something that just anyone can do. But whatever.

@@GerBarne . Where are your billions? There is no comparison between saving your entire life to live a mediocre retirement vs building a multi billion empire as a result to a great start in life.

@@GerBarne . Unlike you, I have a degree in finance and I work in the industry. I know a thing or two about investing and the time value of money. If you think that the average person can do anything remotely close to what Buffett accomplished then you're not too bright. As the saying goes, "it takes money to make money" and even then that's often not enough. But keep living in fantasy land.
@MrSupernova1112 жыл бұрын
@@GerBarne . My point is that the average person starting with nothing will need to work a lifetime to accumulate wealth. Unless said person started saving diligently at a very young age and remained disciplined through his/her lifetime then wealth accumulation is just an illusion. Another factors that people take for granted is inflation. There is also debt for those still making mortgage/car/tuition payments and healthcare cost. Surely, saving from a young age can lead to a form of wealth but not the same type of wealth as someone who is worth $20+ million who can choose to live however he/she wants. Anyway, yes, I recommend saving diligently and letting the TVM do its thing but the notion that $1-$2 million at retirement is wealthy is a fantasy to me when said savings should last 2-3 decades at the accustomed lifestyle, its subject to market downturns and inflation. Most people will get nowhere near that kind of retirement savings. The average retiree at 65 today only has $300k-$400k in savings depending on the source. Hardly wealthy. Good day to you!

This video was chill in its own way but I'm wondering how a student can make millions through investing The way I see it, investing in the stock market,nft,cryptos is just a way to increase already gotten wealth which is why buffet was able to buy Berkshire Hathaway and coca cola; because he had made money from his fund

Your one of the greatest youtubers out there I really support what you're doing! Can i suggest a cover up on Your Brain and Your Life by Jason Zweig? It covers the neuroeconomics of stock investments and why some people are not mentally prepared for investing. I can't get a copy of the book because none ships in my local area. Thanks!
