Just change it so we cut to after the girls lose him Swipe and Ways are now in a chase only for them to fight a bit, how it plays out is up tot he writers, Ways is losing, maybe got his weapons sliced up but not too badly damaged physically, so he does a dirty move to buy himself some time and attempt an escape in vehicle mode, only for Swipe to then have the death scene play out like normal with Ways getting sliced in half.

I have a theory base on the idea of sideways interdimensional concept base on sidesway from armada. And during his trip throw the transformers multiverse and made a double when traveling into the movie verse sense these autobots were brutal and they were closing in so he made a double of himself to escape and expected the double to be killed soon but was unaware he was given a portion of sideways gifted power from unicron to him and the explosion was a fake death tricking the autobots into thinking the double was killed but wasnt so lucky in dotm

I wouldn't exactly call that a "remold". Their respective body designs are pretty different actually, and their alt modes are nowhere near to be similar. But they do indeed share some similarities in some parts of their bodies. Sideways is not a remold of Barricade CGI model, but he was probably based on and influenced by it. P.S.: I'm deeply in love with both of them, they're both my favourite Bayverse characters

Personally, I think that the Sideways we see in DotM is indeed Sideways himself, not a resurrected Sideways or some sort of original with the first one we see being a clone, but that the first Sideways and this Sideways are both the original. What I mean by this is that Sideways at some point had his spark split between two bodies, whether it be a natural speration, or something similar in nature to Beast Wars Rampage and Dinobot II, but that this iteration of him is also taking cues from Armada Sideways in that both halves are part of the same whole.

This is a great theory, I alway wondered how Sideways survived. Turns out, He didn't. He did not deserve to die in my opinion, he was seriously only running for his life. Demolisher is more understandable since he decided to take the highway. But Sideways didn't hurt anyone, to my knowledge anyway. So in a way, who was really the bad guy in that situation? Sideways, who didn't do anything to our knowledge and was merely running for his life, or Sideswipe, who bisected a fleeing decepticon who hadn't even fired a shot at anyone?

Since KSI couldn't get Dino, Dead End is a good substitute. Dead End has the color red like Dino and Dead End/Sideways body type is similar to Dino's, though not the same.

@@acethebeast9971 Sideways is pretty fast due to being a car. As he is shown to be and stated to be, he is an Audi R8 which, according to google, can travel at 322 to 330 km/h or 200 to 205 mph. Hell, Bumblebee’s Camaro vehicle mode (with slight differences) is on par with most supercars. You can even outrun other cars while in vehicle mode, it seems like.

Trans, I have a theory that Optimus Prime was originally a jet-based vehicle. Before TF 2007, he lost his jet part, which prompts him to take land-based vehicle. But because of that, he knows how he can stop Megatron in his jet mode. Then, in TF ROTF, Optimus got accustomed to his truck mode that he explored more of a land-based fighting style. That's why he beat Megatron, Starscream and Grindor. When he got Jetfire's part, he can use it efficiently because he had jet parts before he landed on Earth. His muscle memory made him use Jetfire's part effectively. On DOTM, he wants to be able to choose which form to take, so he commisioned Q to make a detachable jet parts so he can excel at the air and ground battle. On AOE, Knight Temenos was his ship. So, its possible that one of the trophy/statue in the ship was based on his original body. Prime scanned it and returned to how he originally looked like. That's why he can fly without any wing on his body.

In the toy bios High-Speed Spy Battle (Multi-pack, 2010) it is written that Sideways was rebuild after his chopped in half by Sideswipe. So if you're a fan of revived characters, this bio is definitely the answer to how Sideways returned to DOTM. Although it all depends on your imagination.

Also don't know if you see this but i know someone who did a video theory that he's actually alive. So after he got cut in half and blew up, what was left of him had hidden and found a new altmode, fixing himself in the process. From what I've heard he was also going to be in TF5 but very different design because of what happened

I personally like to consider the DOTM "clone" to be Wreckloose since the guy is a blankslate/generic nobody so I feel better about them dying like a grunt as opposed to Dead End, plus his shade of green on his second boxart is a tad closer to the original Sideways silver color. That and he wouldn't need to change his head to look like Sideways since they already have the same head design, but this is just my own personal canon much like how I like to pretend that Jolt and Que/Wheeljack are the same character but simply changed names and look due to appreciating human history and the people like Einstein. That as well as Jolt being able to turn Jetfire into armor/weapons is pretty similar to Que making weapons/tech for his fellow Autobots and Nest. (A lore vid on "what if Jolt and Que were the same" would be cool)
