What I'm really finding interesting about Traveller, now that I'm finally getting a chance to try it out, is that the nitty gritty of playing isn't all that crunchy at all, but you can really drill down into all sorts of crunch. Relating it to the game I frequently bring up, it reminds me a bit of Ars Magica in that way. The core mechanics aren't super crunchy, but you can drill down into a lot more detail.

Yeah, Robot book is great so many options. Possible plot hook - one of the robots is a Imp. spy? Robots can do a lot when the crew is sleeping ;P

I always thought Regina was pronounced like the woman's name

I would love to see a little show & tell about the Robot book and what you can do with it, if its worth a buy and so on. =)

OMG are you running Secret of the Ancients? I am converting my traveller version to Call of Cthuhlu.

That's awesome. I will no doubt pull pieces from SotA. I am very much a "buffet" Referee in that I pull anything and everything of the best stuff from any source. Both choices I offered were equally interesting. In the short term, their choice unlocked Reach Adventure 5: The Borderland Run.

It turns out I thought I made one, but I didn't! So, it is added to the queue! Sorry for the mistake.

In my own game, I can pronounce things however I'd like. :) I prefer Reg-ih-nuh. Also, how will you stop me?

@@RPGImaginings I come from a culture where people have read a lot more words than they have heard pronounced and it's considered rude to not let them know how others have heard the word pronounced. You are free to pronounce it "Smith" and no one will try to stop you.
