You can tell Sam has been watching Matt jones vids cus you use all the same techniques as him and you use the buffalo board and the ramp looks the exact same as his and the lovely mulch landing hahaha so good man let’s hope this comment gets pinned by the legend

Should've put the ribs in vertically for better strength and stiffness, horizontal ribs could bend and warp just thought I'll say! Other than that good job!

When I built my ramps back I '05 I wondered what angle the last bit at the top should be and I eventually determined that it needed to just flatten out much like you did here 😁

To see everything in completion is pretty cool. I´d say it´s a perfect use of space isn´t it? Looking forward to the next drone shots of it! Was the wood of the ramp already weather protected?

I am not sure, but I think if you wet the woodchip it is softer and holds it’s shape better

To keep the ramp from decaying, wouldn’t cinder block or gravel underneath the base help? Direct contact with soil speeds decay.

make a small picnic area with the chunkier logs then cut out a bike wheel shape in some of the logs so u can keep your bike there while you eat your snacks

should put an endless pump track in the middle of all the jumps, and then like a viewing platform in the middle of that to see everything

I've always wondered why you guys don't use a composite lumber to build the kicker ramps, it's a bit more expensive but it will last much longer than the wood will in British climates

You ran your ribs the wrong way. You should always run them vertically or skinny side up. It makes the ramp more sturdy and less flex. However, since it isn’t to wide you should be ok.

Your supposed to turn your cross joist supports connecting the side templates on edge not flat like you did. There going to flex and crack
