The title is misleading.. I want to learn how to build it.. not what plants you put on it.

I have a 17' wall in my living room that is 8 feet tall. I am thinking about doing this to the entire wall. I am a crazy cat dad and want to make a jungle for them to hang out in. Do you have any place I can find a good list of tropical plants that are critter safe? I keep finding small lists of potted plants but nothing like what I am looking for. I have found 2 huge branches from an old oak tree that I am going to chop up and mount to the wall so it looks like the branch is growing in and out of the wall in several places giving my critters a place to perch and sneak around. Love the videos. Just found you and am a new subscriber! Thank you.

Beautiful living wall! I suggest adding/cramming Episcia sp. too to break the "green" and add texture too. Other than that the wall looks mighty fine already 👌🏼

Nice setup but please stop adding that stupid AY to plant names xD its 'adansonee' not adansoneeAY' LOL
@graciewalls59942 жыл бұрын
'adansonee-eye' is the correct latin pronunciation. Whenever botanical/scientific names have "ii" as the suffix, it is pronounced "ee-eye."
@hobin_rude2 жыл бұрын
@@graciewalls5994 no it is not. English is the only language, where "i" is pronounced as "eye". In every other language including Latin, which is closest to Italian, "i" sounds like "ee". Pronouncing "ii" as "ee-eye" is just redundant and silly. Why not "hawa-ee-eye" then? In fact "ii" is just a long "i" ;)
@craigpaulk229827 күн бұрын
@@hobin_rudebecause Hawaii isn’t Latin. The ee-eye pronunciation is correct. All vowels are pronounced in Latin making adansonii, ah-don-sone-ee-eye.
