*Will you show us how you tie your tichels? They are so pretty!!!! *I would like to know what happens during the day on Saturday. I have seen lots of videos on what y’all make for the Shabbat supper, but what do you do on Saturday for breakfast, lunch, and supper? Activities? Naps? Family time? *Can you change into pajamas on Friday night? *I have lots of Shabbat questions. Random things, like what happens if everyone in your house is sick and you can’t celebrate? What happens if an elderly person lives in a nursing home or is not physically able to perform the Shabbat duties? What happens if an Orthodox Jewish man is in the military and it’s war time or he is on a mission and he can’t stop for Shabbat? *What is your favorite Bible story or Bible verses and why? *I think Q & A’s are always a big hit! *What led you to the medical field? *Are you fluent in Hebrew, do you speak Hebrew at home, can you read Hebrew? What languages can you speak? Hope some of these ideas help! You videos are top notch! The camera angles on things are so neat and everything looks so professional! Also- *I love cooking and homemaking tips and videos. *How and where did you meet your husband? How long have you been married? ❤️

Very interesting video!! My Sephardic Jewish friends did not celebrate Purim (they are not orthodox, so I never experienced Purim with them…they involved me in many other things tho, which I always enjoyed!) I also really respect how you are able to show your children’s accomplishments and skills on your videos without showing their faces and invading their privacy in the videos. That is a very respectful thing for you to do, and your kids will really appreciate that when they’re older. Not that you’re doing anything negative, but protecting their privacy is respect to them when they are too young to decide how they want to (or if) they want to be on social media. Well done, and your videos always make me hungry! Purim looks like a lot of fun!
@frumitup2 жыл бұрын
thank you so much Molly Mollie! i do protect my children's privacy for exactly that reason, they will decide later if they want to be on social media, and it is not for me to build videos upon videos about them and perhaps for them to regret them later or feel embarrassed:) thank you for your comment, it really meant a lot to me :)
@mollymollie60482 жыл бұрын
@@frumitup You’re so welcome! I think it can be hard for parents with really good intentions to want to show off how cute their kids are and all the things they do and say…but the kids could be really embarrassed and get teased by friends, especially when they get a little older. I worry about some kids online whose parents show them a lot. Social media didn’t exist when I was a kid, but I could just imagine getting to jr high and having other kids make fun of me for old videos my parents made…yikes! I really enjoy learning from your videos. Like I said, my friends I grew up with always let me participate in things like Shabbat when I spent the night (I know the prayer, candle ceremony, etc!) and some of the foods you make are ones I’ve had before, so your show brings back good memories and I learn a lot, because they were conservative and so I can see you and your family do things in the orthodox way which is really interesting. I’m not Jewish, (was not raised in any religion) but have always loved and respected Judaism because of being allowed to participate with my friends. I think videos like yours which explain and show things so well can help people from different backgrounds to understand and appreciate different cultures and religions, which can hopefully just bring all of us together in caring and respecting each other’s cultures and religions, even if we are not a part of them ourselves. Videos like yours help to bring a little peace and harmony to the world! 🙂

Sarah Malka, I am so happy when I see you’ve uploaded a video. I knew one was coming and my excitement grew every day. While watching your daughters help brought tears to my eyes. My grandparents were ultra orthodox and my Bubbe let me help her do all the things you let your daughters do. It brought back such warm memories of my grandmother who was from Romania. My parents were not religious but when my husband and I had children we sent them to Jewish Day School and I felt my grandmother telling me to let them help with everything we did to prepare for holidays. Now I have two grandchildren and one is my sweet Nechamaeleh, named for her great grandmother and we have been letting her do as much as a two year old can do. I want her to have as many memories as she can, just as your beautiful children will have memories too. Thank you for constantly giving me ideas for memories for my babies.

Dear Sara Malka, I just watched my first video on your channel and your channel is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Not only because of the lovely content, amazing recipes, and the things you teach us about Judaism, but because of the incredible spirit of LOVE , which is of Hashem of course, and it makes your channel soooo different from other Orthodox Jewish homemaking channels that I subscribe to on KZbin!.. I wish I could see your face because I'm sure that the lovely glow of Hashem's love must just RADIATE from you, but I will be content to just enjoy the beautiful and loving atmosphere in your videos. I'm not (as far as I know; although there is a chance I may be) Jewish, but I absolutely love all things Jewish and Judaism and I found your channel purely by accident! I'm so glad I did!!

Awww Lillian! Thank you so much for your kindness and your encouragement : they touch me so deeply🥰 One of My goal with my KZbin channel has always been to show what is Jewish orthodoxy: not for the likes, not for the views but just show that it is to live a real Jewish orthodox life as a working mom with small kiddos : I think this is why I am different compare to Other Jewish KZbin channel which brings a different flavour to the table I think 😅 I am delighted our life paths are crossing and I really hope to hear from you soon! I LOVE TABLESCAPES! I know I'm a year late to this video, but your daughters are such treasures! You have given us such joy! Now, I have a recipe for you that will be easy and fun. It's a milk dish. Strawberries or other tart fruit Blueberries (or any other berry, optional) Sour cream Brown sugar --------------------------- Take strawberries, or peaches or other semi tart fruit and slice them into individual bowls or custard cups.. Take sour cream (whatever amount seems right for sauce) Mix brown sugar into the sour cream to taste. as you can make it as sweet or as tart as you like. Generally I use 1/4 sugar to 1 sour cream ratio. Stir together until the brown sugar is dissolved. Spoon sauce over fruit. Garnish with blueberries. Serve at once. YUM!! Some people add just a touch of cinnamon or vanilla flavoring or garnish with chopped nuts. This is a VERY flexible dessert!

Such talented children you have. What a blessing and a delight. I feel children should be allowed to do things around the house or anywhere. It feeds their curious mind, their soul and gives their heart joy and pride. I was so hungry after this seeing your yummy food. 😋 Blessings🙏❤️

I read & studied the book of Esther last year and loved learning more about God.

Wow that is amazing! If I may ask what was the key takeaway from the book of Esther for you? I would love to know your point of view! Wishing you and your family a blessed day ❤️❤️❤️

@@frumitup That God always has a plan, is always working behind the scenes, and is always in control. He will do everything He can to protect His children.

G-d is not mentioned in the Book of Esther.

@@voidmstr Although Gods name is not mentioned in Esther we can still see how he is working. God was the one who placed Esther where He wanted her, to help save the Jews later down the road.

I meant to say in my previous comment about the tators… I have been microwaving them for just until they are tender but not mushy then I coat them in dill salt and EVOO and bake them .. they come out really crispy… I used to cook them from raw but they never came out like fries.. anyhoo… if you did that and I missed it, I apologize. Purim was a great time at our house growing up too… 🍷 🧁 🎉 my fave holiday is still Chanukah 🕎… I’ll be honest, it’s all about my bubbies famous latkes Sara 😉 🥔 have you ever listened to Six 13? A really fun jewish boy band your girls would love!!! They are on KZbin and alot of fun with an educational twist. 🎶 they are my fave

Thanks for sharing your lovely customs! I enjoy watching these videos. Your daughters did such a good job of decorating the table, and it looks like they had fun doing it also. I just realized while watching this, that the custom of decorating a dinner table just for the family without having outside company over, has been fading in America. I will try to do this more often.

I think the ‘spring’ table plate settings look like flower blossoms. Completely lovely.
