I agree, I am 63 and I certainly don't feel like it. I love fashion and make up, but since I had breast cancer I love to garden, walks and looking at stars or sitting on the beach. My 3 dogs are what got me through the lock down. I have 2 miniature schnauzers and 1 standard schnauzer.

I don't think you change that much with age, I'm quite a bit older than you Josie, but honestly the things I love now, are probably the things I loved when I was 30. And I would say a lot of people are the same. Classic styles, nature, good food, lovely music and spending times with loved ones, good conversations. And appreciation for lots of things that we take for granted. If I was to go back to 30, I would say, be yourself, appreciate your qualities and people that you have in your life, and don't waste your time worrying what other people think of you.x 😊

As an older viewer, I believe that no matter the content, I enjoy watching based on the strength of your charming personality. I started watching because I love fashion even though I have little use for fancy things in retirement. Of course when you and Charlie moved and were involved in setting up house, the fantasy of living in the English countryside took hold and became so entertaining. Now after over two years of watching, you Charlie, Dexter and Dickens feel like “family”.

Hello! I will be 40 this coming July. Born in 1982 I am considered the "early millenial". I find that trends are for those who have not developed a personal style. Mine always gravitates to timeless with a pop of trend here and there. And when it comes to music, Spotify was kind enough to let me know I listened to 938 different artists, 65 different genres, music from 74 different countries. I went to a metal concert and the next day to a Loreena McKennitt concert. I can hang out with my niece who is 19 and have fun AND my aunties who are 60 and it's equally fun. Being raised the way we were raised and having seen all the wonderful and heartbreaking thinhs we have seen, we've learned to appreciate the little things in life and find joy in so many things. I am making a June bucket list with all the fun things I will do, all that I'll bake, summer smoothie recipes, summery body washes & lotions.

At almost 56, I'm a Perennial Generation Xer who loves your style and lifestyle vibe... and watching you discover gardening, cooking and other things that make life worth living; and which take me back down memory lane where I can revisit all my discoveries when I was your age, and it's like meeting old friends again. I wouldn't have thought about my white Impatiens from my first year of marriage (that the Deer wouldn't leave alone, so I stopped planting them), or the Tomato plants that our property was too damp to grow without spot disease, or even the discoveries as you purchase groceries... I retired from the university on April 1, and now have the time to rediscover all these great things -- and see if I can find new ways to grow the second half of my life...! My mom, who I care for now, has Dementia - and we watch Gardeners World every day to comfort her. She loves 'British men'...LOL... Thanks gurl...! I look forward to new content each week... xo

I get FOMO watching the beautiful gardens that you show and of course your beautiful home as well. BtW love your "perennial millennial" coinage, it is a very apt description of you. I am a "perennial Gen X", I can get down with Machine Gun Kelly but have a deep love for Sinatra, Fitzgerald even the American classic like Copeland. I also love country road driving and seeing the natural beauty as I drive by. 14 years ago, I married the love of my life and part of our party favors is a CD of "His" and "Hers" songs that both my husband and I chose for each other. To this day, I have friends that say they downloaded our CD and continue to listen to it. Thank you for the great content.

Hi Josie, I count myself as one of your perennial millennials...I am 66, I love your channel, and enjoy everything that you spoke about. I am highly envious (in a good way) of your glorious garden, I just don't have the space... but its so lovely--just my style too. Enjoy your " jubilent" garden party--- Thank you Josie, for being you xx

Dear Josie I am a perennial millennial, however I am 57 years old. I enjoy your lifestyle and fashion style so much. You make me wish I lived in the Cotswolds living a similar lifestyle of peace. I am currently living in Toronto, Canada and the winter's are so hard for me. (9 months) of minus 30 degrees typically. I have bought some outfits that you have and love. Wishing to visit your Straw Top cottage someday soon. I am so happy that you have found the things you love and nuture. Love Catherine

Have to be honest - I have never been massive into fashion or trends. The things I enjoy most about your vlogs is the gardening & cooking! I do love how you own what you like and don’t care whether it is “trendy” or not. I am not a fashionable person. I just like what I like and don’t care what anyone thinks! Also, massive fan of “old” music! Enya is definitely on my playlist! And although I was born in the 80’s, the music from that era is my favourite bc I have so much nostalgia, recalling my dear mom singing away to its in the kitchen most evenings whilst cooking dinner! Love ittt!!! #perennialmillenial
