I love hearing name stories! I have four- 3 boys and 1 girl. When our daughter was born we were going to name her Tayleigh Noelle. Then his mom told me that her middle name was Louise, and so is my sister in law, and the grandma on that side. My middle name is Louise, my mom was MaryLou, my Nana was Lennis Louise. I told my husband we had to change her middle name to Louise😍My boys are Mackenzie Taylor, Trevor James, and Tanner Davis. All their middle names are family names.

I love their names. My youngest daughter has a hyphenated middle name also. I hyphenated hers to make sure both names were always used because otherwise people only tend to put the "first middle name" on paperwork. All of my daughters are named after family members in some way. 1. Abbie Jae... my step dad's middle name is Jay but I felt spelling it Jae was more feminine. 2. Kay'Lee Marie.. Kay is her paternal grandma's name. Lee is her paternal aunt and Marie is my mom and great grandma's middle name as well as her paternal great grandma's name. 3. MaKynzi Ellen-Rose... Ellen after her maternal great great grandma.

I’m not a fan of the name Anniston reminds me of Jennifer Anniston and doesn’t sound like a last name and I appreciate you wanting to name after a part of your hometown and I like Paige Elizabeth and not to fond of the name winslet that’s a last name and if you call her Winnie people might say Winnie the Pooh

So funky that Rafferty is a first name - it’s a somewhat common last name in Ireland but have never come across it as a first name! The Irish spelling is Raibheartaigh (Pronounced Raf-er-tig)!

Wow those names stories are so, so interesting and meaningful! I love all those names so much and the significance of all of them! I am obsessed with the name Winslet and especially the nickname Winnie, that's absolutely adorable. My baby boy is due end of March and his first name will be Benjamin, but we cannot decide on a middle name. I might just opt out of a middle name completely because its so hard to decide on one! It took us basically 7 months to even pick his first name!!

srop katherine Lunabella is after Luna an orca named Luna. He was left behind by his family and lived on his own from 2-6. He died in an accident. He was very friendly the locals thought he was their chief reincarnated. Bella was after twilight Bella , diehard fan lol. Ocea (oh-shuh) is after the ocean.

oliviaveirs Anniston is called Anni by her nana but that’s the only one who calls her that! We use Rafe all the time and Winslet we use both Winnie and her actual name frequently!

I’ve left a comment about it once already but my sons first name is John David. We chose not to hyphenate it but it is a mouth full lol I have people all the time ask his name and when I tell them they go oh ok hi john. I’m like no.... it’s John David! Oye. We also called him jd.

Midwest Mom I think it usually is hyphenated and sometimes I wish we did bc it’s makes it more clear that it’s one name. The only reason we didn’t was bc he was named after my late uncle and his was not hyphenated. Congrats on ur babies!
