Why does your technician KEEP picking up the wand and starting a new section to clean instead of keeping the wand on the carpet pushing back for the dry stroke? The wand should always stay in contact with the carpet at all times!

Another Great video! I do the same thing... He is releasing the steam as not to over-wet the carpeting and only applies on the back stroke to extract maximum moisture. Most professional technicians will adjust their wet & dry strokes to best suite the need of the carpeting. Some carpets absorb or repel more moisture than others. Installing a glide on the wand helps to cut friction making it easier to push and pull the wand. Some people think it restricts vacuum airflow and suction but that is false. It saves the back. This style of cleaning takes longer to perform compared to 'cheap carpet cleaning' but generally has 90% customer retention.
