We dated from the USA to the Netherlands and someone had to move. Why did my husband move and not me? What did that decision-making process look like? Daniël shares about his decision and the moment he knew we would one day get married.

So, so wonderful to hear Daniël say that your dad is like a father to him as well; maybe quarantine is just making me overemotional, but I started tearing up! Congratulations to you both on your growing family

It's one of those things Daniel talked about that the Lord knew I desired but I didn't even know how much I did - a husband who loves and is close to my father. I could bawl my eyes out every time I think about it because I am so grateful for their relationship.

"It was a calling in my heart from God that I had to really, truly pursue you"❤. Thank you guys for reminding us how beautiful a healthy Christian marriage is! It's so easy to get distracted by superficial attraction, but it's so worth it to wait for the spouse God made for you

"Organically, through the hand of God" - I love that. It is a great way of describing life in general. God has a way of making the path clear if you are praying and listening. I have found that the whole path is not laid out in front of me but one step at a time. God is faithful.

I moved to Ecuador In December 2019 so my husband and I could get married. We got married in February if this year. It is looking like God is calling my husband to be a pastor of a Spanish speaking church in the US. Our immigration process would be different since we are already married but I would love to hear the story of your immigration ordeal as I had previously seriously considered bringing my husband to the US via the fiancée visa

Hearing your story and how God made things work for you really ministered to me and my situation. I don't want to go into detail about my situation, because I don't feel led to share those details. Just know, I believe God used your story to reassure me that He can work things out, even if I don't necessarily see how. So thank you.

Thank you so much for this video!! My biggest take away was Daniël's statement that the Lord knows what going to be important to you even before you do. I recently moved to another country for school and adjusting has been very very hard. But God knew the struggles I'd face and He placed me with the perfect people for this period in my life. Thanks again for the wonderful message, and may God bless your family. Love from South Africa

This video was SO encouraging! Thank you both! I'm from NJ (farther north than Basking Ridge 😃) and my boyfriend and I met in NYC, where we both live. He's always expressed a desire to raise a family in Georgia where he grew up. We've had a lot of conversations about it and we're both still in the discernment stage, but seeing a video like this was so helpful. ❤ Please pray for us!

I’m so happy for you and Daniel to be welcoming a new baby. Love learning about your relationship. I’m here for all the videos about ya’lls journey. I agree about allowing God to guide you. I moved from NY to TX, my boyfriend and I talk a lot about openness to moving if we felt called. It’s a big deal to be away from family but I was so moved by what Daniel said about leaving and cleaving. It’s so important men and women do this when they marry. I’ve seen a lot of marriages fail because inability to do this which is tragic.

In my Church, we talk about tender mercies pretty frequently. As I was listening to your story that phrase kept coming up in my mind. Then I found this scripture to share w/ you: Psalm 125:9 - "The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works" (King James version). It sounds like you 2 received many tender mercies from the Lord to come together & create your family. How wonderful! ❤ Don't you just love how God knows us & what will make us the most happy? Don't you love how He is in charge, & if we submit our will to His, so much joy will be ours? Gosh, we are incredibly blessed to know the gospel of Jesus Christ. So humbled & grateful. 🙏

So I’m a freshman in college who only had one relationship before and it sucked because she only wanted my body. I broke up really quickly because I want to save myself. I am frustrated because all of the girls I am attracted to sleep around. I feel lonely and lost so much so that I kind of gave up on trying to date anyone.

My wife moved here from Canada almost 15 years ago. The Visa process was truly awful, but several years ago she passed the final "permanent resident" mark and we are done with all the immigration hassles. Favorite Immigration Memory: Getting called to an immediate meeting 150 miles away. We show up and walk into an absolutely empty lobby in a 100' x 50' room. Nothing there but about 100 chairs and six "police" decked out in full riot gear, e.g., helmets, body armor, AR-15's ….,...all clad in black. We walked thru into a small room, had a 10 minute appointment that ended up being nothing important. Then returned home. So freaky. The most highly secured empty room I'll ever see.
