Great interview one thing I want to say is I have not gotten my citizenship yet although my husband is Ghanaian, we are working on it, but I am not upset at those who got it even those who we helped have a soft landing when they moved got their citizenship, and I am so excited. We should rejoice in each other’s successes. It is how God wants it. We cry with those who cry and we rejoice with those who rejoice. This was an amazing interview. I really love this couple and to pray for all the Lord’s best for them.

Great Interview, I am also a senior retired black man living in Texas. This gesture from the Ghanaian Government is a good thing. I definitely think it will help improve relations. In our history during the mid-1910’s before Garvey, there was a trader from the Gold Coast called Alfred Sam. He convinced over 500 Black Americans that they could live in freedom on the coast of present-day Ghana if they invest into his business venture by promising them passage and land. He took a few during his first voyage. The remaining 500 whom waited for him had lost most of their savings and possessions as he never returned for them.

This is so wonderfully beautiful on so many levels. It's truly exceptional to be chosen for Ghanaian citizenship. Brudda Diallo Sumbry has given us personally guidelines of repatriation to Ghana. By the way of ancestors, we will be there soon enough. Respect Brudda Ekow.

Africa countries should start giving all diasporas citizenship than allowing Chinese and Lebanese visa to come to the continent

100% but lawd that learned helplessness can be a challenge to get rid of. A lot of black People around the world they NEED others to make it…they do not trust their own abilities and gifts…shameful! 😢
@Lemlem7682Күн бұрын
We don't give no citizenship to Chinese or Lebanon or to anyone. You need to be Pacific, which Africans country is doing that because Africa is continent with 54 countries. And I know a lot of African countries don't do that.

@nanacharles8428 I understand, because I've been to Ghana 🇬🇭. Speaking English makes it easier to live there and it being a major enslaved port keeps us engaged. But African Ancestry was at this event. That's why I asked.

Which Ghana Card? It has been confirmed that it’s not accepted in place of a passport internationally

They're dual citizens. So they can travel to the States with their American passport and travel back to Ghana with Ghana card.
