Running the final double water/alchohol exract through a freeze dryer yeilds an effective medicinal powder. Comes out as a solid layer but breaks up into the powder. (What I learned, not first hand) Freeze dryers obviously not cheap, but if looking into getting set up to sell medicinal products, might be worth it. Thanks for the videos.

Yes! You are so right. I think you have to evaporate the alcohol out first, through a rotovap. Ideally we will invest in a freeze dryer that we will not outgrow any time soon Thanks for watching!!

Lion's Mane is so tricky to get right consistently on scale. Awesome to see you pulling so much out every week. Have you considered experimenting with your own genetics?

We have - but for the sake of keeping things simple, we rely on commercial grain spawn Thanks so much for watching!

Wow. Thanks for sharing the info. It is very hard to find organic soy hulls right now. It was suggested by supplier to use oat hulls instead. I was told another very popular youtuber made the switch and is having good success. Have you used oat hull as a replacement for soybean hulls?
@harmonymushroomco6 ай бұрын
Thanks for reaching out - We tried using organic soy hulls and they did not perform nearly as well. They were mostly powder, which caused issues with our machinery, and our yields went way down. We use Non-GMO soy hulls and they are reliable and consistent. Also certified organic stuff can be a scam, I believe they're still able to use like 5/9 major pesticides. I also think that through the pasteurization and bioremediation process, you are getting rid of the pesticides. could be wrong though!

Thanks so much for sharing. Just to confirm. Did the HELP give you an even bigger yeald than the HE CNS after you started using it?

I would like to grow a block in my 4 x 4 tent. WHat is the optimal humidity for largest bloom/growth?
@harmonymushroomco7 ай бұрын
Best practice is to bring the humidity up to 90+% until you see fruiting bodies and then you can bring it back down to 80% or so. Good luck!

I’ve been trying to grow Lion’s Mane but it’s been tough living in a tropical climate. But not impossible.

you can do it!

1lb per block to 2lbs would be 100% increase. 1lb to 3lbs is 200% increase
