I got my longevity spinach, salad hibiscus, magenta potatoes and blueberry plants in the mail yesterday, all were packaged well and in good shape. I unpacked them and watered them and put them in temporary pots. Today they got indirect sun and a short rain shower in the evening, all are looking great, thriving in zone 9a SE Texas coast

I got some strawberries recently and noticed how they were bagged. Different from the batch I ordered from someone years ago. It was still cold outside so I kept them in my refrigerator. After a week, it got warmer and I planted them. Then a few cold days and I worried if they would survive. They did and are doing well. Thanks for showing how things are done. It looks easy but it takes skill to keep everything flowing correctly.

I REALLY wish you would include a printout of the description that is online for all my orders from you. Everytime I get a plant new to me, I can't recall why I ordered it and what to do with it. Example, I just ordered heat resistant spinach plants, but I doubt I will remember to take cuttings to overwinter them for next year. Please consider this, or let me know how to ask for it. Thank you.

You only clone, or do you grow from seed? It makes a difference with root structure.

From the live plant horticulture team: We clone most of everything that we sell outside of some items like Papaya and Red Pomegranate. They are seeded in large batches since it can take some time for them to root properly. These are seeded, as it is easier to guarantee we get the best selection from them since cloning isn't the most efficient option. In the end, cloning from a mother should have the same amount of roots as starting from a seed, but because you start with live plant material compared to a seed you should see roots a bit faster than just waiting for a seed to germinate, then begin to grow; you've already got your leaves available which act as big generators for the cutting." Honestly, you guys are one of my favorite seed companies to deal with. You always process the orders super fast and the seeds themselves are great.
