Good afternoon. I and my fiancé are planning to get married in Germany as well and your Video has been really helpful to us . The lawyer verification has been completed and we have our marriage registration certificate from the Standesamt. But now I’m confused about how to get a visa appointment from the embassy. As you know there are no intended marriage visa category on the visa website in Nigeria . I wrote an email to them last year and they told me to book an appointment under family reunion visa and we know the waiting time for this is two years now and the mare Registration certificate only lasts six months. Please🙏 can you tell me how to get a quicker appointment date from the Embassy. Or is it that I have to make an appointment under the Schengen visa category ? Please it would mean a lot if you can help me on this issue . Thank you 🙏

However, if I understand your message correctly, you have not booked a visa appointment yet? The update from the embassy is correct and you'll have to apply under the family reunion (spouse) category.
