I have only recently caught up with your content and I am glued to your detailed narratives of Nara or wherever you visit. It was so pleasing to watch you both in an honest explanation of how you were perceived and went on to become married. You are definately one of my favourite channels.

Aw thank you! I love sharing all about where I live and receiving comments like this are what drives me!
Recently discovered your channel and enjoy it very much. I’m a (former) Japanese national and my wife is from Indiana. Our parents were also very open but I guess her parents were a bit more concerned. They are very committed Christians,a new they wanted their daughter’s life partner to be also a Christian. So it helped I am and come from a Christian family, too. Anyway, I wish you a very good year and look forward to your future episodes.

Wow, that really worked out that you were both from Christian backgrounds! Isn’t it amazing how people can be brought together in such beautiful ways?!

Nice story. Glad both sets of parents were supportive.
Where is your japanese wedding video. You two look great together. Very likable couple. And Charlotte is beautiful.

Unfortunately we got married in the days before it was the thing to vlog and casually film everything (smart phones were just starting to become popular!), so we don’t have any video footage from our wedding! 😅
You should also have a wedding in Japanese tradition. You two are so cute couple.

Thank you! When we first got married in the US, we had discussed possibly having a Japanese style ceremony here, some day in the future, but now it's been more than ten years, and honestly we don't feel the need to have any fancy celebration anymore. Just being together and spending our days happily is more than enough!
It means For the time they were changing.
