Thanks, really glad you're enjoying the vids! Bummer you got covid again, hope it's not too bad. Good to hear from more people from Kentucky too, it was a great place to grow up and I love it there! It can be tough getting kids into stuff sometimes, best advice I can give is try to create fun experiences around the bike where the bike isn't the main objective but it's the best tool for the job. Like riding bikes to go get ice cream, or a short trail ride to get to a lake or river to swim or fish in or some rocks to explore. That way they eventually associate the bike with the good times without the pressure of "going mountain biking", since they may think MTB is scary or not fun. Also keeping the rides short and fun and growing as they do well. Hopefully that makes sense and helps, I know it can be tough to get kids to do anything sometimes haha. Happy Holidays!

@@PorterMTB Thanks for the reply! You're exactly right bc they weren't riding alot then I took them to the trail and it was just too scary. Couldn't carry any speed down so were always pushing up making it a bad day. Definitely need to ease them into. I may have lost my older son for now bc he can drive and has a serious girlfriend but I have a great bike for my younger son and a few more years to work with him. Thanks again!

Have you ever considered having a for example a Diamonfback sisterbrand Haibike eMTB for winter riding? A real nice bike for winter riding with 2.6inch studded tyres. Perfect for some flowy hardpack up and down snowmobile tracks!

@@PorterMTB 👍🏻 also had a fatbike, but the riding is too slow for my taste 😀 riding emtb on packed trails in the winter proved to be the solution to ride 365. But off course we don't have the kind of mountains here in Finland that you have there in the USA for snowboarding 😀
