Russian olive's are prolific spreaders depending upon where you live. As a tree trimmer we use a product called tordon to keep trees from coming back I'd ask a local company if they would be willing to stop by and or lend a bottle to prevent it from coming back. If they let you do it yourself make sure to be wearing heavy duty gloves and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards otherwise itll probably pop up for years to come. Best of luck love your videos.

Shark fin to a wall ride at the end with a berm below the wall for people who dont want to do the wall ride. I think they are fun to ride in a small place. Remember to use hard wood for supports and fake decking with lots of supports threw out. That fake wood decking works great plus wont just snap like wood but will start bending just a little

I have never critiqued one of your build vids, because they're all great but, I can not remain silent. The upper deck is missing at least 1/4 of necessary stringers- there's no way that would pass code. Also, the added flex/stretch from the missing stringers accelerates the deterioration of the plywood. Good thing is, you can go from underneath with 3, bucketed 8x2's, seal it and, it will out last us both. I like the jump tarps. Maybe, at season, get everyone in the house, toss some wasp bombs under the tarps and run like heck.

10:17 - Amazing duck and weave there! "Float like a Porter, sting like a wasp!" Amazing video! Loved watching that! Really needed it as well after not having the best day. Thanks for putting in all the work, can't wait for some more vids of the backyard and the Alaska vids! Ps. Been waiting for and wondering when a new video was gonna drop for weeks (I had no idea you and the family were in Alaska, as I don't really use Instagram much). Was just thinking yesterday how much I had missed watching your dirt jumping vids and seeing Milo and Owen progress. Not sure of it would be possible, but would be great if you could just set up cameras in the backyard so we could follow how they progress over time (would require a lot of editing) but would be really fun to see and be super inspiring for many riders, I'm sure! Thanks again for the video and all the hard work you put in to making them, Eric! Enjoy the rest of your summer Porter family 🤘🏻💚

Awesome stuff!! Much better than my few pallet stacks to ride over in my backyard. If I may be so bold as to suggest something regardig those good looking plumbs... if you thin them out a bit while they are still very small, basically just after the fruits have formed, the rest you leave on the tree will get quite a bit bigger! They will still taste delicious but will be a bit bigger. My dad used to be a farmer and we had a great variety of fruit trees. Just one little trick I picked up growing up. Try it next season!!

Sick! Just curious, did you consider doing traditional pressure treated decking instead of ply? Aside from the treating, the drainage created by the gapped boards helps to prevent rot, probably not much more expensive either. Obviously less smooth but I don't ride booters like those so I have no idea if that's super important or not haha.
@joshdexter13173 жыл бұрын
I wonder if you put some Thompson waterseal on that plywood if it would last longer 🤔 Did you build that deck with a slight slope to help water runoff?
