Easy Italian is great! Matteo from Napoli, has a slight accent. Katy from the Uk, you can't tell she is not a native speaker. They live in Milan. Therefore you have a good mixture between the very international city, Milan, and when they are in Napoli. But not only these two places... I like them a lot, and, as you said, they are very much entertaining : molto simpatici!

Grazie! Una cosa che mi piace è la pazienza e il sostengo degli italiani, come te, quando cerchiamo di parlare nella vostra lingua. Ovviamente, faccio molti errori, ma di solito ricevo solo una piccola correzione, per cui sono grato. Forse sarebbe interessante che la maggioranza dei miei errori succede quando, in mezzo di una frase, dimentico se ho appena usato un nome maschile e dopo uso un aggettivo femminile. Una cosa semplice, ma difficile di implementare quando parlo. Saluti!

Just found your channel and subscribed. Going to Italy next year for a wedding so I decided to learn Italian and study the culture. I am loving it! Thank you for sharing your tips and resources. I, too, feel the need to understand the grammar. For me, it is critical to know the grammar piece if I want to build my own sentences rather than just parrot. I like it old school style! I'm watching all your travel videos as well. Good stuff! Thanks again!

Thanks for the nice words. Look into Italki as a place to find an online tutor. I’ve started using it and it’s very helpful and not very expensive. It might be a great place to jumpstart your learning and build on your self-study.

I have been following most of your path Ann. I also try to translate in my head when other people are speaking English.

Excellent tips! I would also advise you to watch movies you already know/have watched before that are American or British and watch them with the italian dubbed voices! We have the best dubbing industry in all Europe/the world so the actors doing the dubbing have perfect diction without dialect inflections. Another plus would be that you know the movie by heart if you choose a very famous one (like Titanic for example) so you at least already know what’s going on and can focus more on the Italian dialogues. Continuate così, siete bravissimi! ❤🇮🇹

Italian language hasn't got a fixed syntax order. It's quite free. What is important is the intonation of the voice: with one word you can express and communicate different meanings, according to the intonation.

Thanks! Yes, intonation is key in all languages. Certainly, Italian is no exception.
