Thanks for the review and tour! I like this tent. Been thinking about purchasing one.

It's a pretty darn good tent. Glad we could help with your purchase. It is a bigger purchase. We know WE certainly appreciate review videos when trying to decide stuff like this. Thanks for commenting!

@@homemadehomestead2985 most welcome! I had one about the same size and one little wind storm blew it in and snapped the fiberglass poles, so it's good to hear that this one is stronger!

We have had that same tent for several years. fun fact for the kids- 3 queen size inflatable air mattresses fit nice and snug to make a great bounce house!

Oh wow. That is pretty cool to think about...not sure I'll mention it to the kids though. They're crazy enough as it is. lol.

Hey, I was wondering if you could check and see what side of the tent your e-port is on. I'm camping out for Sukkot too and we'll be using this tent with a nursery heater and maybe that tarp trick another commenter mentioned. I'm in central Indiana so it'll probably be cold. Maybe during the day too.

Thank you for your video it gives me ideas for my next sukkot next month

If you put a small tarp on the roof and then the rainfly on top it would hold heat in better .... I ordered one and I may consider doing that

Great video. Thanks for sharing. A hack I have used for my tent with a screen roof in cooler weather, is I put a tarp on top to cover the screen and then add the rain fly on top of the tarp. Keeps the cool air from coming in. Have fun camping... :)

Oh, okay! Thanks for the tip, Judi. That'd be awesome here. It's pretty cold that time of year.

We had a wonderful Sukkot last year. We had lovely temperatures and not so much rain. It is a nice tent. Did you camp on your own property so you could care for the animals and farm? We usually do.
@homemadehomestead29853 жыл бұрын
We stayed close to home. Backyard camping is great if you don't have a fellowship nearby, or if there's things that need taken care of on the homestead. Do you have a bunch of people you get together with?

Looks like a lot of fun, praise YAH for his appointed times.

Ya know, it really was a lot of fun. We look forward to these times every year. It's probably our favorite time of year. This was our first year really going all in with the camping thing. Previous years, we've just camped out in our living room. It was fun to actually rough it a bit more, even though it was so frigid. :P Did you guys have a good Sukkot?

Im about half way threw the video but cant help but think that door that velcros does it zip to?
@homemadehomestead29853 жыл бұрын
Yes it does zip too. But we really loved the velcro it was so easy for the kids to come in and out of the tent without messing with the zipper. Thanks for watching!

@@homemadehomestead2985 thanks i just got mine in the mail. Glad it zips i like it for safety purposes. Like when u go to bed if someone tries to break into my tent to cas harm i want the sound of the zipper and the struggle of unzipping so i have some time to try to prepare for it. Not that it woukd happen but never know I wouldn’t want someone to just beable to walk in with out sound.

Are you part of a Church of God group/Mr. Armstrong understanding?

Thanks for watching! Umm....no. I'm not really sure what either of those are. I've heard of the Church of God, but have no idea of their beliefs. And don't know who Mr. Armstrong is. What do you mean?
