I have made shafts, fletching from wild turkey wings and metal heads. My method was quite a bit slower than yours and the quaility of my product was suspect. Regardless of my short comings I managed to win my fair share of major traditional tournaments using a recure and my favorite longbow.I was mostly a hunter and hunted every chance I got. Here I am 81 years old and can no longer pull back a 45LB bow much less my favorite 55LB bow but I had my day. I enjoyed your video!

You can use any round stick making machine. A lot of them are in KZbin. We use selfmade

Those are 11/32 shafts. His micrometer is in mm. 8 mm is 11/32. Count hash marks between the 0&1, there are 10...metric..
