My denton and morelock cousins all graduated from Davey crockett hs from 1972 through the late 1980's. Greg and Chris morelock and my denton cousins ruthann,debra,teresa,michael and Mary Ann Denton all went to crockett. I miss living back in northeast Tennessee! Been in richmond va for 33 years sofar. Let me reverse, so this Camp was for Christians and you were to give a testimony of how you came to Christ. Then during the testimony evidently people didn’t like your testimony and they prosecuted you for that for your story.. I don’t know your story but others were watching you and listening to you I know that you Love Christ ! Praise God

Mel, we were in college...a secular university, and our professor in a “Marriage and Family” class gave extra credit to go to an event on campus about relationships. The event sponsored by CRU, was Christian based where I shared my testimony and Mike was there and heard it. He introduced himself to me the next day after class saying he enjoyed my story of coming to Christ. Most of the students were not believers. ~ Karen

My cousins (jones) went to Daniel Boone high school in the early 1980's. Angela jones would have graduated in about 1983. I dated a sherue Davis from Boones creek area. She is my son Daniel Dentona mother. Her dad ran the johnson city skating rink back in the 1970's. His name was Bob Davis. I attended ETSu and lived in Frank Clement hall from spring of 1983 until 1987. Majored in marketing. My roommate Kevin Jones is manager of select 7 credit union in kingsport downtown branch. He use to manage the select 7 credit union over in Johnson city. There were some Barlow boys from stickleyville,va (little hole in the wall community not far from Pennington gap) who lived in frank clement hall. Jeff Barlow and I cannot remember his brothers name. My on campus student work studies jobs while I was on campus was working as a football team Mgr for 2 years and I also worked in the library periodicals department for Ms Izzy. I cannot remember her last name. She was a older lady who had white hair.
