With the garden, you could temporarily fence around the area to be cut down & tilled up, to keep your animal helpers where you want them (or fence-in the still good garden area to still protect it). Then put some animals in there to eat down the excess vegetation. Start larger and go smaller. So cattle (the more animal mass on a spot of land, the faster they clear cut it, lol) or goats first, then pigs and finally chickens. No sheep, unless it started as grass. I'm pretty sure that you can work out the why, for each animal and in order. Less labor, less animal feed costs and more animal stocking ability. Triple Wins!!!

Ransom does a great job on the atv and helping to haul the corn stalks. It's good to see Cassie is walking a little better. Broken toes are not fun as you are always always on them. She has a great sense of humor and a calm demeanor. I enjoyed seeing the source of wate and looked refreshing for the cattle and drinking needs if needed. Great neighbors are a blessing. Think that’s pretty cool having a hidden springs feeding water into the creek. Nice ice cold water for the cattle to drink in the hot weather. Ransom is doing good on learning how to operate the bigger 4 wheeler safely. Like how he remembered from his first time and shut it off automatically when got to place to dump the corn. Shows he paid attention the first time he drove it on what you told him to do. Cassie, I don’t like spiders either, even when I know they’re not poisonous like that garden spider. Enjoyed the video. I have a small branch on my property that has never gone dry or has never frozen. It is fed by several small springs. It is unimpressive to look at but is dependable. Several years ago we had a major drought in our area with temps near 100, no rain, and a hot wind. All along the branch, the grass stayed green.

I can remember boys as young as 8 y/o driving farm trucks on the farm. I think using the 4 wheeler to practice and learn helps. I like that Ransom wears a good helmet at all times and think adults should too. I.workd.8n orthoedics as a nurse for many years and have seen lives .saved.

Driving an atv on a road can be very dangerous. We just had a father and son get killed in our town when their atv hit head on with a pickup. Very sad time for that family. Glad you are teaching safety

I did that to my foot about 25 yrs ago. They put me in a cast up to my knee. I stepped off my deck on to a small step and my foot onlt hit have the step and I went down . I couldn't move. It was Summer night at 12am. My husband at that time didn't get off work untill midnight. Home My Goodness that hurt. Prayers you heal fast and properly. Be good to yourself and take it easy. I loved your I thought you a were farmer line lol😂😂😂❤❤❤❤

Those low bank areas at the creeks are good but the creeks needs to be cleaned out some. Get Ranger and some of his friends over there to help throw alot of those rocks outta the creeks so the herd can get down to or and drink better! Some of the banks look a little high and difficult for the cows to get to for water! Make a game of it and have them like the rocks up an area so the cows have better access to water! Kids love challenges! Just a thought!

Oh my goodness Cathy that is a lovely shade of nasty green your foot will turn back to normal color and I’m not gonna yell at you because I’ve done the same foolish thing didn’t see something and how mine was in an ATV I was a motorcycle and I went sliding down the road.
