Might want to color code your fuel cans...yellow = diesel...red = gasoline,etc. Just a suggestion...before someone mixes up what fuel is in what can....Your vids are very entertaining ....really enjoy the test ride vids... Congrats on resolving Rune title hassles...

There should be a primer on your diesel filter. U should be able to prime it without tools... it looks like a little black button that is spring loaded pump it a few times and good to.go

In Australia, you can register a vehicle that is no longer registered. The registration authorities do a stolen vehicle, written off vehicle, money owing search (you can also do it yourself on the internet). This negates the sort of hassle that you have in the US.

In America you can do the same thing. The issue was that the registering authority was claiming the bike had never been registered in the first place.

On a bike this old. Go through Vermont for title. You can do it through the mail and not be a resident of Vermont. Then use that to get one in your state.

So If I understood about the Rune correctly the dealership in Maryland gave you back 6000-7000 or so on the rune when they figured out there break even and you would give that for the bike with no title

Can you guys give me more information on a bond title because I just bought a bike and the last couple of owners never registered the bike but I have all the paperwork saying I own the bike like title with original owner and bill of sales dating back to the original owner. It sounds like a bond title is easier, because getting the original title in my name is becoming harder than I thought.

Was worried that someone would actually get GASOLINE for the DIESEL van. I used to work in the tractor business and customers would say they needed or ran out of GAS. WE had plenty of times where that is what they did. I started putting "DIESEL FUEL" decals on their tractors by the fuel caps.
