The countries in this area are deeply orthodox christian and you should respect that, the church has always been an important part of our cultures. Lgbt people are not persecuted in any way, shape or form, Russia and now Hungary I believe banned lgbt materials targeted at minors, that’s all. I for one consider it normal not to expose young children to sex-related materials, they need to learn about anatomy, reproduction and other things first, when it’s age appropriate. Either way, this girl is not related to any government official who wrote or voted that particular law so….

I love your videos because you show the every day aspect of minimalism, which everyone can apply to their own life. I’ve been tempted to throw away a lot of things but then I realised that I had paid for them already and since I use them and they’re in good shape it wouldn’t make much sense. What I do is enjoy all the things I currently have and when they break I ask myself “is it really necessary for me to buy a new one?” Most of the time it isn’t. I also prefer it like this because I don’t regret when I throw things away because I do so only when I can’t use them or repair them anymore

I took a big suitcase for a 4 day trip. A friend of mine who was from the Philippines laughed at me and showed me her small carry on bag. She washed out her clothes at night and knew how to travel lightly. After that I tried to start down sizing but it took me years to learn how to just take the minimal amount of things. I was so happy to see that Agatha loves books. I really respect you for allowing her to become familiar with books. We also pack very light. We use the low cost airlines and travel with hand luggage only - recently they've become even stricter with how big the carry on bag can be, so we each have a backpack which fits under the seat on the plane. It's enough for up to a week, with clothes rolled and put into packing cubes which you can squash a lot into!

Thanks again for sharing your life with us. And thanks again for another informative and entertaining video. Hotel shampoos: I take the used ones as I know that they throw them away. I don't take them when it seems to me that they are being refilled. I then use the ones that I took at the next hotel or Airbnb to prevent the next hotel from creating more plastic waste. We travel 12 months a year (have no home by choice) so I don't have a "home" to take them to and cannot load-up on such! Having said that, I understand the attitude of: I paid for it so I am taking it. I often have the same attitude. It also reduces waste. More of your informative, educational and entertaining videos. I love using spreadsheets or lists for packing. I also try to pack as light as possible, but the lists help me remember things better, and I also add notes of things to remember when we go specific places!

That is a great idea! I keep thinking I should make a standard list of what to take on trips. I am TERRIBLE at packing! I get so stressed out and sort of panic on what to bring because I am afraid I will forget something, and when packing clothes, I don't know what I will want to wear so I bring too much. I always bring to much, even if a just go away for a weekend. I need to work on this especially since I am planning on taking a fairly long vacation in a year as long as there are not all the travel restrictions that are currently happening.

I like to have lightweight nylon clothing for traveling. They roll up into almost nothing to pack and they are easy to wash out in the sink & dry quickly. I only use them to travel so they stay in my duffel bag when we are at home.
