I know this was a year ago posted but just discovered your channel as just about to pick up our first (hopefully only one) California Ocean! That was a great insight of what to take and how to pack thank you! I’m very impressed that a man is so organised 😉. Happy holidays!

Hi. Am just watching your hunt for a driveway awning video. A Bus And Beyond did a video on the Vango Hexaway 2 airbag awning which looked good, but didn't have a sewn-in groundsheet. Did you manage to buy something, if so which one?

Hi thanks for the video! Just wandering if you’d be able to help answer a question about the air con. I’ve just picked up a similar California and have the air con in the rear by the sliding bench seat. It has the dials and similar to yours next to the dials where you’d expect to see a vent there is a plastic cover. Is this supposed to be removed to operate air con/heating in the rear? Otherwise where does the air come out of? Thanks for your help

It does feel a bit like a Tardis sometimes..until I am trying to put a jumper on at 7am with the inside bed down as Max is still sleeping 😀 Thanks for watching as always!

Why didn’t we think of putting shoes in the rear cupboard above the gas bottle??? Well documented 👍🏼

It is handy especially on rainy days as you can use the tailgate as a shelter for changing! Thanks for watching and commenting

we have to do it that way as ours is a Berlingo Microcamper. We still fit it our cooking drawer, food, fridge, power station, double bed, dining area and lounge seating, a loo, ramps, outside tripod stools, proper bedding, up to 60 litres of water, a diesel heater (under the passenger seat), a 100w solar panel, window blinds, spare footwear, clothes and waterproofs etc. Like a say, we seldom stay anywhere more than one night in usually stealthy locations.

Very useful video. 1 Comment though see loads of vans with seat covers on. Very few look nice. Including yours (sorry) All you're doing is not having nice seats to look at while you have the van. But ones who you sell it to will. Loads of you do it. But to me seems weird.

A rather bizarre title as it seems you have some new kit and are trial and erroring where to put it on camera? Also aren’t levelling ramps needed first on arrival but you’ve buried them at the back?

It was a bit of trial and I must admit, but it kind of all went where we'd hoped. There is a perfect little slot for the levellers down the side of the sliding seat, and we have found we don't actually need them that often when we turn up. Thanks for watching!

Fix the commentary sound please. Music is twice as loud.
