Last record I sold I used two layers of cardboard, having the outer layer at 90 degrees to that on the inner layer. Solid!

Great video, but how do you cope with eBay's fees? I was doing really well selling lots of items, eBay charged me nearly £300 in two months! It's put me off selling and removed most of my listings, any advice would be great, thanks

Love your channel guys, keep up the good work. Am a reseller and also a fellow KZbinr, but for different interests. (as my name suggests) I find Bricklink invaluable for Lego. Its free to sign up and great for research, set checking etc etc. Dumbledore is about 30p on there, its just the S+H that costs and delivery can take a few days... Hope this helps.

I would have liked to see how you packed the wicker table/magazine rack. Did you put it in a bag just in case the box were to get wet? I can't imagine mailing a mug without bubble wrap but maybe I overdo it. You have been shipping things a lot longer than I. Newspaper must be working for you.

I didn't bag the wicker, no, but it seems to have arrived safely. I think as long as the mugs are secure and very well padded they are fine, the key really is having a gap between the mug and the outside of the box so any impact does not affect the mug

I love these videos keep them coming! I am thinking about starting up Amazon fba,I've looked into it and it seems very difficult and confusing. Could you do a video of how you add multiple products for a shipment,printing off the labels and what you do if they give you different addresses for your inventory to packing it( whole procedure really! I really hope you can do a video as I've bought stock but I'm to scared to go for it! 🙈🙈. Ps I don't want to pay for a course,they cost hundreds 😄 x

Im hoping not to sound like an 'Algo-conspiracist' but Im pretty sure that the sooner you can get an item marked as 'shipped' the more customer flow an ebay store gets, so it acts like a 'dead mans handle' and ebay knows that there is someone fulfilling orders and transactions will complete and thus ebay will get paid and buyers will be happy. So I try not let them back up too much.

Probably a really dumb question (and sorry if you’ve covered this elsewhere), but when you take all your parcels to the PO, do you get them to provide you with proof of postage for each parcel? Just wondering how you would claim if an item went missing and you didn’t get proof. Thanks :)

Andrea, when it comes to that disney bag I would want to keep it also, so what I do is price it REALLY high, that way I justify that it is listed. I recently did that with a picture and got 170.00 for it, only paid 5.00

In UK anything bought purposely to resell is liable but you can earn 1000 un taxed selling off your own stuff, I. E boot fairs eBay, if you have another job then you are taxed on all profits above 1000 if not then the norm 5ax allowance of (at mo) 11500 applies a year but ni starts after a out 6000 but you still have to declare it all even if you have not made a profit Added........ Hmrc in UK now have the right to ask ebay for lists of sellers... For any reason, so they may ask eBay for all sellers who have earnt over 1000 in past year and then could chase you to provide tax records and u could be fined for not declaring your 'other' income. If this is your 2nd job stick to selling your 'own' items and keep running total of profit so you know once you've hit a 1000 profit and then you can decide from there, if this is your only income, just declare it now and start keeping basic acts, what comes in and goes out as if you're a basic reseller you haven't got to keep a ledger, hope this helps 😊

I would like to security mark some plastic cased higher value items (not electronics), does anyone do this and if so what do you use? Worried about buyers returning identical but damaged/non-functional items.

There is little point in security marking items. If the customer returned a different one you couldn't prove anything so eBay usually side with the buyers. That being said it rarely happens.

Reusing food boxes is frowned upon in the States. I love the thick pizza boxes but, it's a no no. People are afraid that the cardboard isn't tough enough and to many people have allergies to thing.

I see Ebay are now going to enforce mandatory adding of Tracking Numbers for ALL items (March 2019) so this will stop me selling ALL my low value items (less than 10GBP) , as cannot track large letters without the signed for service, anyone have any opinions>? Before it was not mandatory.

If you signed up for RoyalMail "Click and Drop" you can use the 24/48hr tracked service with/without signature. Its easy to use and will import your listings from eBay -alternatively use Hermes

It gives me too much anxiety packing items in those single walled boxes. I line all of mine with cut card to make them at least double walled then use newspaper or bubble-wrap to hold the sides in place. An extra piece of card placed under the side were people cut in to is always a good tip, just incase a customer gets a little heavy handed with a knife.

Not really impressed with packaging I think there is a lot of luck involved using just paper in that way. Especially with the mug. However it is resourceful and cheap and if it works for you thats fine. I think it's really good that you share your ideas and methods.

hi 100% don't ask for any boes in any lego shop they can't give any out pab wall ones they that did once something to do with bar code's and shops do get payed of all the cardboard by the kgs it's small money
