I love the accountability and responsibility that comes mandatory with living tiny. You get lost in all the to-do's sometimes of a bigger home and put things off, whereas in a tiny home, you don't really have a choice! Everyone has to put in work and carry responsibility.

Thanks for the Detroit fire update. It's great seeing everything getting rebuilt. My parents were at Detroit Lake when the fire happened. They were part of the trucks and campers that got evacuated. They were very lucky to get out and got some amazing videos when they were on the road. The fire was above them and on both sides of the road. I remember the panic I was in when I heard about the fire knowing they were there so I can't imagine what they were going through. I've lived in Oregon my whole life and I'm still amazed at its beauty.

Nowadays with so many things that can be done remote, it is doable for all ages. Girl, I was holding my breath when you moved the slides in. Glad you mentioned the same thing. Whenever you guys make your way to New York State, I HIGHLY suggest going to the Adirondacks, specifically Lake George and Lake Placid!! Lake George has awesome RV parks and Lake Placid has some Winter Olympic sites! Also going over to the Finger Lakes and to Alexandria Bay. You can tour multiple old castles there, I suggest Boldt Castle and Singer Island. You can also do a boat tour and look at mansions on the lake

GIIIIRRRL I love your Camper/RV but this has totally solidified for me that I do NOT want slides! LOL I already was looking for without slides simply bc I am in Canada and they would be much more difficult for 3 or 4 season use bc of insulation... but i had never thought about having to clean a billion percent thoroughly to avoid ruining the floors or causing any issues. Obviously I get it for your family but def for me and my dog and my plants no slides is the way to go!!! I am happy you did this video esp for those of us who are always browsing!!
@KristenKasper Жыл бұрын
Slides are amazing for space and not feeling tiny in there. It’s really not difficult especially if you’re not moving a ton. Just vacuum the floors before pulling in the slides ❤️
@MarisaAndChew Жыл бұрын
@@KristenKasper if it wasn't just me and the dog who is like 30lbs I would totally be all for the slides BC it really does have the extra room esp with your family and Cash being a big boy, but for just one person I think as long as I find a good layout it would be great to not have them! I loved the layout of the camper you guys had before the toy hauler. With the seperate parent sleep space and then the living area separate. Something like that would be perfect BC I really don't take up much space and the number one would be to have a real mattress BC I've got a bad back! Unfortunately you can't predict when your back is going to be in a rage so being just me all that extra work could be really challenging in a time crunch... Not just the vacuuming but the moving all the things so the slides can slide. Maybe one would be doable! I would have to try it before i bought to see... 😬 arthritis and degenerative disc disease and depending on yourself can be hard! Not complaining I'm legit happy you showed all the things that go into it before you're ever even hitched up! Haha this is a case of too big being an issue 😬😜

Financial wise, what do you think you spend on any given month to make the trailer run as you need it? I am curious to see how y'all run it in the Winter time depending on where you are on your adventures.
@KristenKasper Жыл бұрын
All depends on how often we move (fuel) how often we eat at restaurants, where we stay and what activities we do that cost money. The trailer itself doesn’t cost anything unless it needs upkeep or repair.
@dawnkanouse745 Жыл бұрын
@@KristenKasper That makes total sense. I assume the electric, water, etc is all included in the cost of the RV Park space rent? Do you like to try and stick to some sort of budget, or just go with the flow and focus on the memories?
