FYI next time put the sand in a mason jar, hose over opening and then put just the ring on and you can shake this way much easier.: )peace by the way you two did an amazing job on the boat it looks fantastic. :) peace

much nicer colour than the last colours job well done, when you go into any marinas your handy work will be admired and the maintenance staff will ask where you had your boat done and when you tell them you did it they'll ask if you would like a job lol

Very nice job painting those lines. Generally speaking you want to remove the tape as soon as possible as the bond will become stronger the longer you leave it in place.

It certainly does look amazing and if Cruising the Cut says it looks amazing up close and personal then it is confirmed. I'd like to add that choosing the deep blue colour and white trim was a great decision. A home to be proud of.

Nice result - looks good. I've seen the "sand treatment" done in a similar manner on non-slip walkways on both helicopters and light aircraft, so you're well up with the play.

With a cruiser stern boat rain travels down the gun whale and into the engine bay. A solution to this problem was found by having a rod deflection welded across the gun whale at an angle to deflect the rain water into the canal.

Many years ago when I used to hand paint my cars, I was given some very interesting advice; I was told I should mix my 'Crown Gloss' with Varnish to give it that brushless sheen ...... #Amazing!! ;-)

you did a fantastic job boat looks great..a little tip for you if you ever paint again.when you lay your masking tape where you tear it off fold the corner back a small amount it will make removing it a lot easier as you wont have to pick at it to lift an edge....well done
