How we record our audio | Part 1 | Boiling jug
Welcome to Bruit Blanc AMSR. The intention of this series is to show our audience examples of how we produce the unique sounds found here on this channel.
Although our productions appear to be simple, the audio undergoes a rigorous fine-tuning process to perfect the sounds for your enjoyment. Here, we showcase an example of how we collect audio for our raw Boiling Jug sounds.
Our boiling jug sounds undergo a lot of fine-tuning. We have to bump up a lot of the lower frequencies due to the lack there of. We also reverse some of the audio when looping the sounds so that we can create a seamless multiple-hour-long version. For obvious reason you cannot boil a jug for hours on end so this is one of very few sound that we have to loop
We use a software called "Audacity" to fine-tune our audio.
