I love watching these beautiful horsemanship techniques

Hanson is a good trainer. I used to do that for my horses. I even trained a young filly at 3 months of age. My first one. I got compliments from the veterinarian and farrier. They told me I was very good with her. They asked me how many I have trained this way. I told them she is my very first filly. They were surprised. I have a way with horses. I move slow talk gently and whatever I do I explain it to them. I like it when horses are curioius about what is around them. I think the horses get to know the items will not hurt them. I can't wait for Part 2 on Vixen. Very gorgeous horse!!

Yes, learned a lot here. My first time seeing a horse buck after being saddled the first time. She looked like a rodeo horse and Henson had to jump out of her way. Nice training, thank you!

Hey thank you!! The brand is a Treasure State brand, Todd and Una Ford raise some phenomenal performance bred horses! We especially love that they are born and raised out on the range!

Great video... Question, do you take outside horses to train?
@PaintedDesertRanch3 жыл бұрын
Hi, we make JHeart horses our priority. We sell all our babies as weanlings, when they are ready to start most people will bring them back to us for 90 rides. We sometimes have room for others but that is pretty rare. ***disclaimer*** We START horses, we do not take older horses for ranch experience or “wet saddle blankets”.

Before this video was filmed, what sort of human contact did she have? It's clear she's not straight off the range.
@PaintedDesertRanch3 жыл бұрын
After picking her up from the ranch she was penned up with a few other horses and fed for a few months before we started her. No imprinting or anything like that.

This is a filly not a colt. Young horses shouldn't be ridden until they are 3 years old.
@karinlotz57323 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right, she I too young to be ridden, her bones are still too soft and she will grow up to her 6 th year, then she will be full grown up. So, please respect the nature an give her some more time to develop physically. Please do not torture her. I can't stand if people spoil their horses.
@bobbyunruh40383 жыл бұрын
You guys are doing it right don’t mind the comments from people who do not know a thing about horses you can and should start them as two year olds you don’t have to ride them hard and it will help them develop better all you people that wait till there five and six are the people who take you older horses two people like these fine people to correct all the problems you have created
@karinlotz57323 жыл бұрын
@@bobbyunruh4038 If you don't know anything about horses you should not comment on anything. We used to breed horses for generations an have experienced not to start them before they are three and a half years old. We still have horse that are over 30 years old which are still in best condition and which have never been treated by a vet, except for vaccination. Ist't that proof enough????
@bobbyunruh40383 жыл бұрын
@@karinlotz5732 You can state all the experience you want to I spend seven days a week on horseback start everything as two year olds and I have horses that are in their 20s that are still being roped on and doing Ranch worke every day so just because you think you’re high and mighty doesn’t mean you need to come on here and criticize people like in the video that start them younger and do it right just because it’s not your way
@bobbyunruh40383 жыл бұрын
I have never left a comment in my life on KZbin but seeing people go in and criticize people and try to push their ways on other people I’m sick of. Why can’t people just appreciate the fact that they start them gentle and right even though it might be different than the way they do it instead of coming on here and and trying to belittle someone for their Ways

You two are quite the horsemen but I hate the way you shape your hats! If you shaped them in a more traditional way you would probably get farther in your training!Ha!Ha!
