That was pretty cool watching the baby with its first encounter with us scary humans. Uh oh ….water low! Who’s back there…..I heard a little ones voice, lol. (Love the kids too! :) )

Jumping for joy since no digging was needed! Nothing more stressful than water issues. It sure is easier to get on and off a four wheeler compared to a horse. I started needing a boost so my husband put a small set of stairs in the paddock for me. Now that our 3 horses have passed, 2 miniatures are enough chores for Grandma. Enjoying watching you young folks, always remember, getting old is not for sissies!

Love watching your videos. I used to have a mare and ride when I was a teenager but am in my 60’s now. Having had the experience of owning a horse and riding often is one of the most memorable of my life. I hope you are safe from all of the fires raging across Arizona right now.

So many beautiful horses! Each one prettier than the last one. Whoever matches your mares and stallions has a wonderful eye. ❤ While watching you fix your water problems, my local water company pulled up, turned off my water, and is replacing my meter! Weird timing. God must be in charge...He has a sense of humor! 😂

Repairing water is one of the other parts of ranch work but has to be done. Glad y’all didn’t have to dig and replace pipe, y’all got lucky! I used to work on a small horse farm/ranch and their are days like this, including days when alfalfa Timothy hay came in on a tractor trailer with 3 strand 100 + lb bales etc, not fun day but all a part of it. Thanks, I enjoyed it!

I really like your videos! It helps me appreciate life on the desert in Arizona. My great great grandma, grandparents and Mom were from Arizona (Clifton). They moved to Northern California so that's where I live. It's difficult for sure in the desert, but you do a great job. Water is life, something we don't have a lot of right now with the drought☹️. Do you grow your beautiful alfalfa hay somewhere else?

Do you have trouble with sand colic with your horses?
@judychristensen56893 жыл бұрын
My thought too.
@PaintedDesertRanch3 жыл бұрын
Very rare for our ranch horses to colic. If anything, the change in weather from summer to fall causes colic to the horses we buy from elsewhere.
